- This time at the Quick Speed Shop I need to get my Buick Nailhead powered deathtrap rail dragster fired up for the Top Secret Drags at the Seneca Army Depot in Romulus, NY. This includes changing the carburetor and some engine tuning. Built just like something Don Garlits would drive back in the day this old dragster is a beast and should be super cool at the track. I'm towing it with my 1946 Studebaker M5 truck.
Please like, share, and subscribe. I put out new videos every Wednesday and Sunday.

Shooting Flames!!!!!! The dragster runs like a kitten or bear!!
Look Out Secret Drags, the Buick is heading your way!!! Awesome fun!! Go Pro camera always puts out good views!!
Wait until you see it on the strip!
My favorite part of your videos is always the Stude truck 👍👍👍
I'll have to get it in some more videos!
The little burnout on the trailer was fun 😆, That dragster looks like so much fun. thanks for the video Josh
It's super fun now that it actually runs!
You did an amazing job building that dragster!
Boy oh Boy I could listen to that old Nail head all day maybe that's why I have hearing aids LOL.
I'm going to need aids after driving it all day!
What a fine ole lady 💯
I'm watching and the captions on. When the engine runs it says Music. It knows.
That's funny! 😂
That things cool!
👍
Where is the radiator?
There is no radiator. Dragsters don't run them. It's just looped with water in it and a small overflow tank. It will run for about 5 min without a rad.
Imma guess 15.4 in the quarter.
I think if it was actually dialed in it would run way faster than that, probably in the 13s. It is a 401 Buick sitting in a car that barely weighs 1000 lbs.
@@QuickSpeedShop Don't get me wrong, its a cool machine but it sounds tired and far from dialed in. I wish you the best.
It's just for fun
@@QuickSpeedShop It's one of the coolest engine stands ever built holding a cool engine. I have a virgin 62 283 and a three speed trans that I would like to build something around.
Anything that has Army Depot involved is cool by me! That motor sounds Fantastic!! Have a Great Day!
The Seneca Army Depot covers hundreds of acres and once held munitions in underground bunkers.
