Yesterday when trying to fall asleep I was tempted with memories from the past, but I asked Jesus and my guardian angel to protect me and erase those thoughts from my mind. Then I proceeded to play some worship music and sing along. After a while I felt much better and fell asleep 😁 God is good all the time 🙏🏼

I've been praying every night, for weeks, that God gives me the strength to overcome my doubts and give me a sign that he has a purpose for me and that i'm wrong in my doubts. I started seeing the number 33 constantly! After a shift at work, where I continuously saw the number 33 again and again, I got in my car and did some quick research, and learned that Jesus died at 33 years old. I asked God if this was my sign? Was the 33 the sign to believe in Jesus and the sacrifice he made for our sins? I then felt compelled to change my radio station - sure enough, the station ended up being 103.3, and this was the song on. I became overcome with emotion, and I let God know that his message was received. Praise God!
A great book of the Bible to read for relevance of suffering is 1 Peter. We will suffer for our faith. That's a promise. But God will give us His grace to stand firm. Also, a great promise taught by the Apostle Peter. God bless!
I agree, it's too much. Some of these lyrics are confusing and just not biblical. Lyrics like "If I join You in Your sufferings, then I'll join You when You rise"? The bible I read states that God sent His Son Jesus to suffer and die for our sins and be resurrected. It does not imply that we could possibly die with Jesus and be resurrected also. As Christians we need to be very careful about the songs we sing, making certain that the lyrics are biblically sound. While some lyrics in this song are okay, because who could argue with magnifying Christ, there are some that are very troublesome. The sad part about this is that some Christians will sing this and think that there is nothing wrong with these lyrics.

They're saying that if we join in the Earthly sufferings of being a Christian(believing in him and acting in such a way), as Jesus did, we'll have forever with him. Of course, none of us will literally die next to Jesus, as he isn't here in the way that he was before. It's saying that partaking in Christianity can be hard, but Jesus has been through it all. We cling to him. Hope that helps.

when i was younger i was afraid of Jesus. i always heard he would “burn the world” in the end times. it truly terrified me. at around 13 i became close with him. i mean i tried to at the very least. then the world sucked me back in. of course i still thought about him but i told myself that living the worlds way was easier and i’d ask him for forgiveness later. now i’m 15 and i got back from my first year of church camp 4 days ago. church camp brought so much out of me. it was so easy praising God and talking about him being in a community where that’s all we did. i absolutely loved it. my boyfriend got closer with God and so did our whole group. we all poured out our feelings. it was beautiful. my boyfriend and i made a promise to keep it going when we got back to the real world. 4 days in and here we are making mistakes. it’s much tougher out here bc you don’t have people constantly reminding you and pushing you for your best self. see, in church we had a live band sing to us the whole week. over 1000 of us worshiped and prayed and sang. this was one of the songs.. so i’m back here blaring it on the house speakers. even the smallest thing can remind us to keep pushing. to keep living for the king. to keep praising. to keep moving. be the salt and light in peoples life. the smallest light can change someone world. it did mine.
So I just got back home from church camp yesterday and 7-13-22 this song played and we were able to go to the front and so I did and I got saved.... I am so much happier..

Yes Jesus your love magnifies my heart to be mediated to worship you as King. Your love shows more and more opportunities to build a vessel that takes me on a long long Journey to go across the seas. @@spencergroup As I replied, actualy each of these verses are Biblically sound. They're not actually confusing, especially if you go through your Bible to see what it says. It's not saying that we're going to literally be crucified. It's saying that if we go through the Earthly suffering and trials that come with believing in God and being a Christian, he's there too. The song is not implying that we can die with Jesus and be resurrected. It's saying that throughout everything, throughout all the suffering, Jesus is there. When we suffer by being mocked, Jesus suffered in the same way. I think if you go through your Bible, looking for what they're saying in the song, you'll find it's really not confusing! Maybe make it like a Bible study or something, looking for Jesus's promises!

But is it really biblically sound with lyrics like "If I join You in Your sufferings, then I'll join You when You rise"? The bible I read states that God sent His Son Jesus to suffer and die for our sins and be resurrected. It does not imply that we could possibly die with Jesus and be resurrected also. These lyrics are confusing and just not biblical.
@@spencergroup As I replied, actualy each of these verses are Biblically sound. They're not actually confusing, especially if you go through your Bible to see what it says. It's not saying that we're going to literally be crucified. It's saying that if we go through the Earthly suffering and trials that come with believing in God and being a Christian, he's there too. The song is not implying that we can die with Jesus and be resurrected. It's saying that throughout everything, throughout all the suffering, Jesus is there. When we suffer by being mocked, Jesus suffered in the same way. I think if you go through your Bible, looking for what they're saying in the song, you'll find it's really not confusing! Maybe make it like a Bible study or something, looking for Jesus's promises!
