Every aspect of the finale was perfection. The writing, the acting, the humor, and the sincerity that ensued upon Ash's farewell. Truly a memorable episode from start to finish.
One of the best most underrated shows. It never fails to make me laugh. This last episode brought laughter and tears. Violet was always my favorite. Everyone else however, was brilliant as well. And what a great ensemble. I miss this show terribly.
The Violet and Ash conversation is probably one of the most powerful and heartfelt moments in this series and. Vi is selflessly begging Ash to leave because she wishes she could have left when she was younger. Her bond with Freddie and Stuart is genuine and strong but I think she dimmed her light in order to be of service to the people she loved, thinking that if she didn't, she are not loyal or trustworthy. Sometimes you need to put yourself first. You can "leave" people and still love them and stay in contact with them/ support them. Vi does not want Ash to make the same mistake she made. This hits hard for all the people pleasers out there we lost so much of themselves trying to make others feel comfortable.
I´ve watched this show three, maybe even four times. Each time I've discovered something new or it at least seemed that way. The actors are magnificent, the dialogue superb. Penelope may be the funniest character ever, Violet is so heart warming. Indeed sad it only lasted for 13 episodes but maybe that's a good thing. British comedy at it´s very best. This is literally the first video I've ever seen of the show. And I still teared up at Violet's talk with Ash, Ash's goodbye scene, and the clip at the end with Stuart crying at the phone.

The farewell scene turned me into a mess. I wanna know what Freddie whispered into Ash's ear ! This show was only 2 seasons but it looks like they really all got close ! And Mason's "I'm here my dear,don't worry!" to Penelope just made me cry even more ! Just Love it ! I think the farewell got really emotional becasue the actors became really close and they knew it was the last episode and their last scene together.
I recently discovered this show through a clip I've seen on tiktok and I'm so glad I did because this is the funniest and most heartwarming thing I've ever seen. I'm surprised it isn't more popular.

I can't explain how enjoyed VICIOUS!!! I forgot how to laugh since the love of my life ( husband) passed and also my children. But suddenly I found in Tubi VICIOUS and the FINALE here!!! They were GREAT. THANK YOU!!!

Mason and Penelope are such good characters - Mason, particularly; I think he’s as cutting/vicious as Stuart and Freddie. And I truly liked every episode better than the last, binging every one that I could find. Seeing a program focused on older people than typical sitcoms allow is refreshing. There is a lot left untapped here. How disappointing there isn’t more.
I’m so ecstatic this is on here, thank you so much. It breaks my heart there wasn’t another season but this was such a wonderful goodbye episode to these characters. I thought for sure though violet was gonna go to Italy and finally find love... then she’s just there like normal for the rest of the episode haha. What would have made it extra special is if Stuart was on the phone like he used to be with his mother, only this time it was violet in Italy or ash in NY.
If someone would have told me that Gandalf and Ramsay would make me cry like a baby in a TV show I would have laughed like crazy.. And here I am. The whole cast is brilliant.

Go figure that Violet is the MVP of this series finale as she encourages Ash to follow his dreams. I can understand through Freddie and Stuart's POV - it's sad wishing people goodbye especially when time is so fleeting.
I think it's hilarious that Freddie is the one featured in a single episode of Doctor Who when Derek Jacobi was actually the one who guest starred as the Master in only one episode.
I loved this show, particularly the first series. I hardly remember any of this but loved the end part with their favourite parts. I also never knew that Mason was Freddie's brother! I always wondered lol.
The episodes are all numbered very oddly as if for some reason the translation is off by one or two programmes. that not withstanding, this series just rocks. I love it.
Great series......glad i purchased the dvds....dont think they will be available on blu ray....but should they ever be in future, then i will certainly upgrade 😎
The acting on this show was top notch, the difference between USA actors and Brits & Irish is they can do fillm, Theatre, Soaps, Comedy so flxable. Monica Warren stared in Mrs Bucket such rounded actors.
With all the commentators commenting on TH-cam about "crying", I think the laughing should-be mentioned. A wonderful cast of actors. I watched the series the other night and I laughed my ass off! ...which is good since I have not had a proper laugh in months! Especially the parts with "Balthazaar" the dog, in the first few episodes. Totally non *PC* and it worked wonderfully! ~

Well that just left me a total mess. To see this side of Sir Ian and Sir Derek is just wonderful. This is one of the best shows England has produced.

A great ending, and I finally got to see it in its entirety. Great characters. Wonderful developments. Farewell with Ash was the best moment ever.

Ash returning was real. And improvised. This entire episode was difficult to everyone.
Fun fact: this date with the sitcom’s series finale was also Iwan’s final Appearance in Game of Thrones, where Ramsey became Dog Chow.
