Hey there--I've been watching you for a long while now (two years?). I too have a junk journaling channel (for newbies). One thing I'd offer on this project that instead of cutting off that tiny bit and re-gluing it on, just score both and fold the extra into a pocket on the inside front cover. Also, that extra flap could serve as a wrap around (instead of the doily)...(I'm allll about saving time and steps, lol 🤓) This is a great tutorial, Love how organized your projects are 🤗 You've a boatload of great ideas here on your channel --it's quite a treasure! PS for anyone reading this: the stapling can be done with a regular stapler too--one that can be opened (as if one is going to staple on a bulletin board) Open said stapler, and staple the pages into the cover while they're on top of a soft piece of foam or small folded towel. Then use bone folder or fingernail to fold down the "legs" of the staple. There's always a way-- 👍🏼
That is an excellent idea 💡 I really didn't feel like purchasing that large stapler (even though it is really nice) but I don't plan on making a bunch of these, just a few for my friends. Anyway TYFS 😊

Hello! I have been a quilter for over 20 years, and rarely paper-crafted. Last October I had a kidney transplant and couldn't quilt during recovery. I was going stir-crazy until I came across your channel. Your ideas were so inspiring! I made several teabag holders, hot chocolate pockets, and notepads to give as gifts at Christmas (I couldn't go shopping either during recovery). Hello, Amber. I just recently saw this video, and have started making these lovely journals. I gave a few to friends, and they loved them. I really enjoyed making them, so I've decided to make batches of them to donate to the shelter for victims of domestic violence; they use journals for their therapy writing. It has been going great and I thank you for the idea. I ran out of 6x6 pads and now I'm cutting up some 12x12 papers. One change that I made is that I cut the inner papers in half (4.5 x 5.5" instead of 6") so I can eliminate waste, since I don't make the smaller notebooks out of the leftover paper. Thanks again. When I get a chance I'd like to watch some of your other past videos. P.S. I bought the chomper and that really helps do the corner rounding.

So I will make them for giving gifts to friends perhaps with a favorite pen. They are a respite for me from card making which is what I usually do. I have started making little things and putting them aside for a craft fair. Everyone always tells me I should sell my things, I never feel as though I am good enough where someone would actually buy something I made. When I start to feel down I always turn your channel on. I started watching your videos about 2 years ago. I do 4 or 5 big shows a year. We do crochet, sewing, dream catchers, hanging towels, and I now have a 6 foot table of paper crafts! These work with a sheet of 12 x 12, I cut to 6 inches then score at 1 and 1/2, 6 and 10 1/2 and that gives me a little tuck on both sides! Thanks for all your inspiring videos!

I am a new subscriber. I have been crafting my entire life, with my grandma, and while my 3 girls were growing up my grandma and I crafted with them as well. My girls are grown and have moved away, my grandma passed a few years ago, and I live alone with my cat. Crafting is all I really have in my life at the moment...other than work. I am a teacher. But I spend every spare second crafting. I would LOVE to have a channel. I just don't know how to start, or if I would have enough to do every week.

I have to say I love your little creations. I have made some of your ideas in the past and sold them at my craft fair last year. I actually had someone come back and ask for more just last month because they are so easy to make. I actually have several ready to go just all cut up and prepared only to be put together in a moments notice. These to are definitely something I would like to make. I think what would be great is for you to show maybe 3 or 4 different ways that you can use them and fill them up as a weekly basis video. I would definitely tune in to watch them. Everything you make is so beautiful. I’m going to try this. I’m a crafter, but I don’t sell. I give everything to friends, family, co-workers etc. I make a lot of hair accessories from ribbon and fabric. And other fun stuff, like doll blankets and pillows. They come out so cute. I also sew tissue pack covers, coasters, wristlets, coin purses, book sleeves, cosmetic bags and other cute things. Enjoying your videos very much Amber!!
Hi Amber I do not have a you tube channel. I have been paper crafting for several years. Most of the paper crafts I started making came from your channel! I also do sewing crafts. I make bowl cozies, over the door dish towels, stuffed oven mitts, plastic bag holders, scrunchies, lanyards, adult bibs (I call them adult clothing protectors) baby blankets, baby bibs, burp cloths and eye glass cases. I literally learned how to paper craft by watching your channel! I still make the hot cocoa packs and Hershey nuggets packs for my Fall Craft Shows!

Have been a subscriber for sime time now. I don not have a channel, I'm just a Mom who loves crafting. I stumbled on your channel years before because I work at a school and was looking for a small gift to give to all the teacher and staff. I landed on your loaded paper bag idea, Thank you, they all loved it! ❤ Your seed packet video has also inspired me too! I made my own verison of it using a forget me not seed packet, and made four lil memory books for my daughters and nieces of my mother. I use pieces of her hand writing and pics of her, left journaling spaces for their memories of her. My Mother loved gardening, growing flower so it was perfect. Thank you for that! ❤ This is a bit long so Ill end with asking what you used the leftover inside paper for??? Staying tune... 🙂

Tfs. Just bought a lot of 6x6 papers to make notebooks for my Japan trip to collect stamps, journal, and one for my niece to scribble. This is the perfect size since 4x6 felt too small if some of the stamps are big ones and I didn't know how to make 5x7 out of 6x6. Instead of cutting off that extra piece, I'm probably just fold it and have the pocket on that side

I've been making these. I have started cutting my inside paper at 5.5" instead of 6. It works perfectly inside the folder and saves paper!

It's funny but I have no idea how to use any of them, I figured I would follow you, learn how to print, and used everything I purchased. I am a new subscriber. I have been crafting my entire life, with my grandma, and while my 3 girls were growing up my grandma and I crafted with them as well. My girls are grown and have moved away, my grandma passed a few years ago, and I live alone with my cat. Crafting is all I really have in my life at the moment...other than work. I am a teacher. But I spend every spare second crafting. I would LOVE to have a channel. I just don't know how to start, or if I would have enough to do every week.

I have to say I love your little creations. I have made some of your ideas in the past and sold them at my craft fair last year. I actually had someone come back and ask for more just last month because they are so easy to make. I actually have several ready to go just all cut up and prepared only to be put together in a moments notice. These to are definitely something I would like to make. I think what would be great is for you to show maybe 3 or 4 different ways that you can use them and fill them up as a weekly basis video. I would definitely tune in to watch them. I know you explained one way your going to use it. Anyway thanks for sharing your beautiful creations with us crafter family's. Brilliant work 👏🏻 Your such a lovely person to listen. Great tutorial Amber! I do have a YT channel, and often do and link/share your videos. I love all things papercrafting, but have a bit of an obsession with cards and cardmaking, especially quick and easy or assembly line cards! Thanks for your continued videos and crafty inspiration. Crafting is my happy place, as I have a lot of anxiety and crafting keeps me calm. I might not have a lot of supplies but I use what I have, and seem to manage okay. Everything you make is so beautiful. I’m going to try this. I’m a crafter, but I don’t sell. I give everything to friends, family, co-workers etc. I make a lot of hair accessories from ribbon and fabric. And other fun stuff, like doll blankets and pillows. They come out so cute. I also sew tissue pack covers, coasters, wristlets, coin purses, book sleeves, cosmetic bags and other cute things. Enjoying your videos very much Amber!!

I do not have a you tube channel. I have been paper crafting for several years. Most of the paper crafts I started making came from your channel! I also do sewing crafts. I make bowl cozies, over the door dish towels, stuffed oven mitts, plastic bag holders, scrunchies, lanyards, adult bibs (I call them adult clothing protectors) baby blankets, baby bibs, burp cloths and eye glass cases.
I literally learned how to paper craft by watching your channel! I still make the hot cocoa packs and Hershey nuggets packs for my Fall Craft Shows!

I stumbled on your channel years before because I work at a school and was looking for a small gift to give to all the teacher and staff. Your seed packet video has also inspired me too! I made my own verison of it using a forget me not seed packet, and made four lil memory books for my daughters and nieces of my mother. I use pieces of her hand writing and pics of her, left journaling spaces for their memories of her. My Mother loved gardening, growing flower so it was perfect. Thank you for that! ❤

Tfs. Just bought a lot of 6x6 papers to make notebooks for my Japan trip to collect stamps, journal, and one for my niece to scribble. This is the perfect size since 4x6 felt too small if some of the stamps are big ones and I didn't know how to make 5x7 out of 6x6. Instead of cutting off that extra piece, I'm probably just fold it and have the pocket on that side
