    Just found your channel. This would make a beautiful mother's ring (as long as there aren't too many children). I think I'll make one for my daughter-in-law for Christmas.

    Lovely! I’ll make these. Also Thank you for keeping your nails natural. I find all the glitz and glamor of sparkly acrylics to be so Distracting that I have trouble concentrating on the tutorial. Not a problem with your excellent tutorials! New sub here.

    Are you using round wire?

    • @ManieMartinez
      @ManieMartinez  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Carol, Yes I used ParaWire round wire. I always list everything I used under the video if you ever want to know what I used. Take care.

    Where did you buy your little pliers ? Thank you for the video.. I would like to see someone do a video on sizes of wire and what they are used for... Do you use non tarnish wire ? Lol You and I have the same finger size wow. Love the rings. I have learned something new in everyone of your videos and I have been Beading for years.

    • @ManieMartinez

      Hello Page, I got my little xuron pliers from Fusion Beads when they had a big 75% off sale. Got to love a good sale. I always use non tarnish wire and a little sterling silver wire. ParaWire is my favorite for non-tarnish wire. I would love to explore bare copper more. Getting wire here in Canada means paying customs fees, which almost doubles the price. So I have to wait for a really good sale to make it worth it. As far as wire sizes. for jewelry mostly I use 18 and 20 ga when I want a good frame, 22 if I am wire wrapping and there is going to be lots of other wire to create a tougher or really small piece. For men's bracelets I have used 16ga but it is really hard to work with. For weaving on the frame I use 26 as the standard I use but I love 28 and 30ga but that is really fine and kinks really easy. The finer the wire the more delicate the finished piece will look.

      Manie Martinez Thank you for your feedback on the wire. I have got to get me a couple of those pliers . I live in the US so getting wire isn’t hard for me. I was using sterling silver wire but, as you know that got expensive. I now try to use non tarnish wire unless my clients was sterling. Thank you so much. Have a blessed weekend . 💞

      I so agree, Non tarnish is the best. I save the sterling silver for ear findings, and for using with gems or cabs that are rare. You are blessed to live in the USA. There is so much you can get fast and cheap. Enjoy the adventure.
