I find it interesting that the IMC seems to have tighter infantry formations and more spread out mechanized, while the militia is vice versa with tighter mechanized formations and more spread out infantry
Could be that IMC uses more robots to fight their war while Militia is spending human lives so their formations are more open to lose less soldiers to a single grenade
The imc aren't entirely the bad guys in this conflict when it comes to the safety of their soldiers, notice that in most conflicts they send robots ahead of their flesh and blood troops even though robots are far more expensive to produce. The militia on the other hand sends their men in gung ho without any support usually to their deaths.
Tfw you realize that titanfall has a pretty intense and awesome war going on in the background that would get more love if pilots and titans weren’t running amok like gods of war
If it makes you feel any better, realistically the grunts would decide battles. One Archer rocket would be able to punch through a Titan cockpit and a Pilot jumping around like a bunny on crack would get lit up like a Christmas tree.
Yeah you really start to think it's less about pilots versus pilots and more about pilots HELPING grunts and specters. Like when they say "Look a pilot, now the odds are in our favor" they aren't fighting other pilots they're probably in a firefight with a rival squadron and I guess they think that you will eliminate the squadron before you stim away to the pilot you saw on the roof next to them.

Some of my favorite memories from titanfall 1 is just seeing the AI do stuff, I remember running down a hallway and seeing a grunt drag his injured friend into a hiding space, and then running off to go do something. I also loved seeing the grunts run from you when you got your titan
Indeed. It's a bit satisfying to listen to their panic as they run as fast as they can, but also sad when you corner some and they either slowly surrender or get angry and throw down their weapon in frustration. Still, very fascinating.
One interesting thing to note is if a grunt is alone and you’re in your titan the grunt will actually surrender outright and slowly put his weapon down.
Sometimes i wish all games had something like an AI playground, you'll never get more fun than this. I mean there are games where you loose AI details. Imagine npc battles in Halo 5, or in red dead 2, even the last assassins creed games. I know there are mods but all games SHOULD have an option somewhere to spawn AI. You will enjoy a lot and better if they have animations/ interactions like this ones from Titanfall
It's amazing how good the AI actually is. The gameplay makes you so OP you never really realize it. But if the entire game was just you being another soldier, nothing would feel out of place. It's incredible.
I wish more people would play this game. It's so much fun just not hyped up enough. If you love fasted paced shooters with a titan buddy to call in then this is ur game fam

I finished it 8 times cuz, ughhh, I cant play multiplayer, dont ask why, and I have never met someone who played the campaign 8 times.
They had more dialogue also, and in general better path finding. And I loved how they would drag wounded back in cover, and even salute you. Lol I even managed to get freaking killed by them a couple of times. Especially the shotgun trooper. It was really a great game.
While Titanfall 2 improved many things I also think that Titanfall 1 does some things better than Titanfall 2. The Pilot putfits for example, the first person animations and ofc the ai of your general NPCs
I loved how in Titanfall 1 you could take perks to be invisible on the map for other pilots so you could specialize in AI killing. Was less effective score wise, but I loved it.
AI to AI Interaction has always fascinated me since I was very very little. I love observing AI in games to see what they were programmed to react to and how they execute there programming. Especially if against there own kind and not a PC. It fascinates me to no end. Shooting games provide some of the best AI to AI interactions one can watch. It's also great to compare notes and observations over the decades and between games. It also lets one see which games have competent and incompetent AI programming. Which are just for show but lack any actual intelligence, have the intelligence to back up what they are showing off, or rarely a good/perfect blend of both.

Really took off when I watched Stephen Spielberg's "A.I." , "2001 A Space Odyssey", the "Matrix" film series, and later Will Smith's "I Robot" amongst many other films. Then books I read, anime like "Ghost in the Shell", & tv shows like "Star Trek" that explored mankind's future and A.I. advancement just always amazed me. Nothing to do with being smart or showing off how much I know. I genuinely appreciate this video & channel. It's nice to know there are other people that share my interest in the field of A.I. study. I'd suggest you also find something that interest you enough to study & enjoy it, rather than talk down to someone you don't even know. There's so much out there to learn & experience friend. Get out there and stop being negative/a troll. 2020 has been rough enough.

Titanfall2 AI has some of the most beautiful interactions when it comes to stuff like this. It's like watching an ACTUAL battle if you remove the pilots and titans from the situation and it's very entertaining to watch. Don't know what that says about me, but it's awesome nonetheless.

Titanfall 2 was a masterpiece. It was really surprising how incredibly enjoyable the campaign was especially. Now my two most played campaigns are neck and neck between MW2’s and Titanfall 2’s.
I remember that one mission where you doing those testing campaign sites and you get reinforcements but those reinforcements were captured soldiers used for experiments and they said “ALRIGHT JUST LIKE LAST TIME” and that could mean that they went through a bunch of testing phases just to survive.

The next Battlefield needs Ai bots to fill the field and make it feel more large scale. Still keep 64 but add bots for support and shit like that....be able to command a squad of 4 for each player or something...they can make it work. Have them driving the tanks or being the door gunners and shit. Idk im just high af right now 😆

Id like to see AI titans fight the bosses. It'd be interesting to see. Also I realized that the AI always fight each other to the same capacity regardless of difficulty. They have the same accuracy and damage output against each other, even on master, even though Stalkers laser me down on master.

Man, this is... an interesting perspective. It reminds me somewhat of some slices of the stories in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare subseries, which was funnily enough made by some of tge same people.
Imagine A Big Epic Battle Where You Are Not The Protagonist But One Of Many With Titans, Grunts, Specters, Stalkers And Even Pilots Running Around. Something Like The Big Battle In A Cutscene Of Halo Reach
I love how differently the Spectres and the Stalkers move and fight. The Spectres act and looked like a regular grunt but with enhanced mobility and protection. Giving hand signals and gestures to signal allies, using covers and firing stances. They kill grunts with standard military martial arts and mechanical strength when melee. The Stalkers are more heavily armored and survivable but they lack the mobility of the Spectres being unable to run. The ability to shrug off rounds and can still fight even when missing limbs makes them an incredibly dangerous threat in close combat. They kill with pure, cold, mechanical efficiency. They will not stop until you or they are dead.
Still waiting for a third game. Would love to play as the IMC coming to restore order to the frontier because as Apex showed us, after the Militia won it pretty much collapsed and society fell into the hands of criminal empires
@@solthegamer3769 that’s a very good point. Still it would be an interesting change of perspective to play as the IMC. The whole assumption of “the rich guys with British accents are the bad guys” is pretty fun but showing that there’s not one totally evil side and one totally good side in a war would make for interesting storytelling

Thanks :) and yes i would love to make an Origins video. Only thing is there is no story creator mode for Origins. For my Odyssey NPC Battle video it was really handy, i was able to spawn different NPCs on the same area. Still i will see what i can do.
For a 4 year old game, this still holds pretty well
Titanfall has one of the better Sci fi universes I've seen besides Star wars and 40k. I still need to get into Halo
i like watching how the AI reacts to different scenarios
Id like to see AI titans fight the bosses. It'd be interesting to see.
Also I realized that the AI always fight each other to the same capacity regardless of difficulty. They have the same accuracy and damage output against each other, even on master, even though Stalkers laser me down on master.

Man, this is... an interesting perspective. It reminds me somewhat of some slices of the stories in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare subseries, which was funnily enough made by some of tge same people.

I love how differently the Spectres and the Stalkers move and fight.
The Spectres act and looked like a regular grunt but with enhanced mobility and protection. Giving hand signals and gestures to signal allies, using covers and firing stances. They kill grunts with standard military martial arts and mechanical strength when melee.
The Stalkers are more heavily armored and survivable but they lack the mobility of the Spectres being unable to run. The ability to shrug off rounds and can still fight even when missing limbs makes them an incredibly dangerous threat in close combat. They kill with pure, cold, mechanical efficiency. They will not stop until you or they are dead.
NPC battles are always entertaining
I did not know Spectres had a casual walking animation.

Still waiting for a third game. Would love to play as the IMC coming to restore order to the frontier because as Apex showed us, after the Militia won it pretty much collapsed and society fell into the hands of criminal empires

@@solthegamer3769 that’s a very good point. Still it would be an interesting change of perspective to play as the IMC. The whole assumption of “the rich guys with British accents are the bad guys” is pretty fun but showing that there’s not one totally evil side and one totally good side in a war would make for interesting storytelling

@@d-stroydragonofthedark5301 I've heard mixed statements, where they want to but like nothing confirmed. The only reason TF2 lost sales was because EA made them drop it between a Battlefield and CoD launch. I'll double check.
