  • First ever Dragon's Cup went good, not great.
The match ran very well and they had excellent stages step up. The stages were very technical stages that required almost perfect fundamentals or you would end up with a miss on a target.
My performance was phenomenal for the first half of the day and then it was crap for the rest of the stages in the afternoon.
I ended up taking 10th place in Carry Optics behind some other great shooters.
I'm looking forward to competing in the Dragon's Cup every year they put it on.

Nice runs. It’s been a while since I shot USPSA but it seems like there is a lot of movement that really gets close to the 180. If I were an RO I think I’d wear a vest. These stages are gonna get someone killed for absolutely no reason.

RO's who continually stand on the 180 might need one. Or just stand a little further back, I'm not gonna risk my life to see someone go 180.1 degrees.

Good shooting! I'm kinda surprised the RO didn't get you on stage 2 though. look at :40 in your video.

I tried to fight my initial reaction to just reload the gun, because I knew I needed to turn my body.

how many pounds of recoil spring/main spring do you use? I've been trying to tune my shadow 2 a bit more so it doesn't dip as hard during doubles

I've had good luck with a 12lb hammer spring and 11lb recoil spring.

Thanks! Do you have the recoil buffer installed or taken out?
