So, these awful content creators know that little kids, curious about where babies come from, will click on thumbnails of their favorite characters pregnant. Really gross and creepy imo.

100%. I was on TH-cam as a kid at the start of a lot of this ‘elsagate’ content started to come onto the platform & I myself got intrigued because they showed these ‘taboo’ topics that I was confused about. It definitely didn’t help me at all watching them though, and they only left me more confused after watching (which is probably purposeful, so the kids will watch more trying to find answers). I think parents just need to be straight up & talk about this in a correct but age appropriate way so kids won’t get curious & fall into the wrong hands. If I ever have kids I would probably go above and beyond to try & protect them from going through what I did.
I caught my younger siblings watching them once. I basically tried to distract them from it by suggesting to watch a different video. I was really confused as to why those videos existed and figured it would be best to change it.

My thoughts on Bandits Belt: It's very dark,yet so intriguing. 5 years ago,I would have had a meltdown about the fic,but now as a 20 year old,I just get left stunned into silence. I cannot stop reading because it's...well... "A disturbing masterpiece." Definitely not the best fic by any means,my picks for that would be: -Senior Year written final kitsune -Blueys Blues,written by Makenzo -I'll love you enough for the both of us,written by RandomWriter2020 I definitely recommend these 3,though I would put Bandits Belt written by The Home Blue in 4th.

I know many people have already talked about Bandit's Belt in the comments, but as someone who has read all of it (although I'll admit I skimmed through some of it), it is brutal and it did ruin my mood for several days. I'll admit, I kept on reading out of morbid curiosity, to see how much it could get worse and man. It does get worse. It is genuinely soul-crushing and stress-inducing. I still remember those scenes in the hospital and those scenes with the alligator/crocodile, and so many more, and the nightmare scene(s?) ... And in between all those shocking, gory scenes, it's just miserably sad. Sorry for the rambling but Bandit's Belt is certainly something. Something I wouldn't recommend to read (unless you're into that). Though I will admit amidst all of this, some secondary or even tertiary characters get to shine. Edit : THERE'S MORE THAN 30 CHAPTERS? I thought it ended at chapter 30, on a joke. OH GOD
I read chapter 1 and 2 out of nagging curiosity a few minutes ago after watching this video and... yeah. I have a pretty high tolerance for dark themes and graphic events and I could probably stomach the whole thing if I really had to, but it's still a little uncomfortable to read, so if it gets as bad as people say, then maybe I should quit while I'm ahead. At least there are occasional funny typos and grammar errors that provide a very much needed chuckle here and there.
If I remember correctly, Exercise was changed due to health professionals bringing up the fact that it could cause self image issues with children, not because of fan backlash I might be wrong though. Love your work!! ( 20:41 )

I honestly feel like the Fandom has gathered to much negative reputation that it has made people who never have watched the show judge people who like the show and its pretty sad because they see it as a degenerate fandom full of weirdos but in reality the fandom is mostly kind, caring, and accepting of others. I wish that more people could see the better side of the fandom instead of focusing on the bad aspects of the fandom.
This is a tale as old as time, unfortunately. For as long as fandoms have existed, if it gets large enough, weird stuff starts coming out of it and outsiders only see the weird stuff because it gets spread around a lot more than the positive stuff. So ofc outsiders then assume that is what most of the fandom is like, and the entire fandom is labeled as degenerate or bad. Same thing happens to furries, it gets labeled as a fandom full of degenerates and weirdos. Sure there are people in the fandom who are, but a good majority are actually kind and decent, compassionate people. Any fandom that gets enough popularity will inevitably gain a negative reputation, it's just what happens in fandom.
Oh man... Bandit's Belt... Found the fic when someone commented the name on a Bluey dark waters video when the TH-camr didn't want to say the name. I only read the first few words on the first chapter and immediately backed out of fear. And I hate to admit that the cover art is good quality but for something very violent. Edit: I do agree on harassing The Home Blue will NOT make anything better. If you don't like something, you should ignore them and let the fans be fans. In this case, I'm gonna ignore him and not read the fic. Although, I am interested on some his art, some of which should be censored and blocked for the younger audience.

8:47 Just a note on the topic of firearms and kids shows. Contrary to popular thought, I think we should have a kid show or maybe an episode of one that's dedicated to firearm safety. Kids are naturally curious, and a lot of gun owning adults in the US don't understand proper firearm safety, that's why most gun deaths in the US are due to a negligent discharge, so that means a lot of parents are not storing firearms correctly, kids need to understand how dangerous these things can be when misused. Treating the topic like Voldemort and not talking about it just makes kids more curious about them, and since they're uneducated they won't handle them safely, They could accidently discharge it and injure someone or worse.
But definitely not Bluey as that kids show because we don't have that many firearms in Australia and I would really like to keep it that way. I don't want Bluey to endorse that dangerous ideology and bring gun violence here.

Yeah!! I'm in a different fandom where self shippers and OC x cannon is very common, it's rocks! I love seeing everyone's self ships and OC x cannon ships. While harassing others for having the same f/o is bad. if you just block them or are just uncomfortable by it but aren't being rude, it's completely fine!! Coming from a gun community background and having several veteran friends across multiple outlets and walks of life, the whole "Bluey with Guns" thing is simply a method of attaching friendly & safe materials to the work environment and mentality of what those people either actively deal with or have dealt with in their lifetime. Some people simply like the combination of the characters and weapons because they are both things that they enjoy and they want to express that joy with morale patches & stickers, others who are not military personnel but do enjoy firearms also collect the patches for "funsies" and just to have a chuckle. This is something that has been a part of military culture for almost 2 centuries now, with servicemen naming numerous vehicles, weapons, etc. after cartoon characters and using their likeness to decorate them (see the story on how Donald Duck & Popeye the Sailor were official mascots for a few U.S. Navy squadrons during WWII-The Vietnam War). I can see why some people would like that stuff, it's a great show with good morals and a very relatable cast (heck, Rusty's dad is in the Australian Army and we even get an entire episode about military-style play with him and Jack playing "dust-off")... I do, however, see a problem with this thing catching on too far. Bluey is inherently a wholesome kids show for the whole family, it's got great marks all around and even the Daily Wire's Matt Walsh enjoyed the show himself (Here's the video, try to muscle your way past the political rhetoric and see what he has to say about it: th-cam.com/video/ik5sGK7TwGk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=U-4lsObkQdpjHqpV ). The issue I take with the whole "Bluey & Guns" trend is that it only really makes sense for Vets and their families, outside of that it isn't a great look... Love the content of this video, though I'm not a major player in the Bluey fandom I do still enjoy the show's warm-hearted nature. Hope to see more content in the future!

Although this did get me going about some thoughts I've been having recently, so here's my unprompted essay: I don't get why a bunch of people online are suddenly acting like the Bluey fandom is some kind of terrible, drama-ridden place when it's objectively one of the tamest fandoms I've ever seen (sometimes to a fault). All the "controversies" connected to it are pretty minor, universal things like scalpers, freebooters, & the fact that kink art & grimdark fanfiction exists (which it has the RIGHT to, even if it's not safe for most, just click off the page, be mindful about what you're CHOOSING to consume people!!!). Also, Redditors & Twitter users being toxic & argumentative as usual about anything & everything. Also not exclusive to the fandom. In fact, every fandom is NO more toxic than the world at large, which SHOULD be intuitive to more people because every fandom is just a large, loosely associated group of people. There's no way to really control that (unless someone's doing something REALLY illegal). Policing people's personal/creative expression based on your personal trauma or moral sensibilities is WRONG & will ALWAYS turn into a moral panic that attacks or stigmatizes people that aren't really doing anything wrong. Case in point: 31:14 Also, it bothers me a bit that every fandom/subculture nowadays has this excessive self-loathing based on the judgement of ignorant, pretentious outsiders who have increasingly made themselves the "moral police" of the internet without much challenge (outside of the opposite extremes) when so much of their judgement is subjective & nosy. At this point I'm going on a tangent, but what do you think?

I actually got curious and looked up Bandit's Belt, and from a writing standpoint, it's actually not bad. Granted the subject content is horrific and there is a lot of bad grammar, but I have to say, although it's not written well, it is a good story that's told well and hooks the reader in, which is the main goal of any writer. It just goes to show, even if someone's not the best at grammar or the other technical aspects of writing doesn't necessarily mean they can't be a good writer. Sure, it's overly edgy misery porn, but it's still a story with plenty of suspense that's keeping me reading so far and I can tell it's written from a place of genuine emotion and passion the writer poured into this story.
I have to give you a lot of respect for how you talk in such a gentle language throughout the entire video, so as not to accidentally say one strong word and scare others away!
The explicit side of fandoms might sound complicated and frustrating to deal with, but the reality is that it's as valid of a way to interact with the fandom (as long as they stay away from iffy subjects and they're not openly shoved into other people's faces, consent matters). If anything is popular, it's impossible to escape explicit content at all.

The Bluey balloon incident actually reminded me of something very similar that happened here in Mexico. To give context in Mexico, we have this mascot called Doctor Simi. He’s basically the mascot of a pharmaceutical company that is really successful so much so that colleges in the country they do study it’s success. Dr simi has merchandise more specifically plush toys what happened was that we had a heavy metal concert here in the city and what the members of the band did was that as they were performing they took out some Dr. Simi plushies and just like the wrestler before hand, they held it up and ripped it to shreds. And for good measure, they threw it into the crowd. And just like the Bluey incident many people were pissed, not necessarily in the concert, but in the aftermath, because it came up in the news. If you ask me, I died of laughter when I saw that and if you were to also ask me why exactly did those guys do that? I wouldn’t be sure, but I I think that the members of the band were pissed that Dr. Simi was being like commercialized because we saw a lot of foreign people specially people from China given it praise and stuff and they said “I’m gonna do the same thing but I’m gonna kill it and throw it into the audience.” Yeah, that was a very unhinged moment in my country .
As someone who was a brony for a long stint of time, "Bandit's Belt" gives off very "Bubbles" vibes. Though granted, Bubbles is shorter and not _as_ gritty. But it's still the same formula putting an, often fan-favorite, character in a horrificly deppressing ruin-your-mood type situation.

Something to add into the wrestling side of Bluey but not as much of an incident but a fun cameo. Fan signs of the Bluey characters of course would be in some shows like WWE or other companies like AEW. For AEW, a Bluey Is All Elite sign is seen in one show while another (maybe the same sign from before) appears during a tournament of matches split into 2 sections. The Bluey sign appears in AEW Collision where they would play in a section called the Blue League. So basically just a fitting place in wrestling to fit a Bluey sign in. Also if you're still upset about what Greyson did to that balloon fans, just simply tell him wrestling is fake & watch him throw a hissy fit.

100%. I was on TH-cam as a kid at the start of a lot of this ‘elsagate’ content started to come onto the platform & I myself got intrigued because they showed these ‘taboo’ topics that I was confused about. It definitely didn’t help me at all watching them though, and they only left me more confused after watching (which is probably purposeful, so the kids will watch more trying to find answers). I think parents just need to be straight up & talk about this in a correct but age appropriate way so kids won’t get curious & fall into the wrong hands. If I ever have kids I would probably go above and beyond to try & protect them from going through what I did.
I caught my younger siblings watching them once. I basically tried to distract them from it by suggesting to watch a different video. I was really confused as to why those videos existed and figured it would be best to change it.

I kinda like about how you admitted being part of the bandit crush because it makes you more relatable. Especially with how you react while showing your fanart.
I know many people have already talked about Bandit's Belt in the comments, but as someone who has read all of it (although I'll admit I skimmed through some of it), it is brutal and it did ruin my mood for several days.
I'll admit, I kept on reading out of morbid curiosity, to see how much it could get worse and man. It does get worse. It is genuinely soul-crushing and stress-inducing. I still remember those scenes in the hospital and those scenes with the alligator/crocodile, and so many more, and the nightmare scene(s?) ...
And in between all those shocking, gory scenes, it's just miserably sad.
Sorry for the rambling but Bandit's Belt is certainly something. Something I wouldn't recommend to read (unless you're into that).
Though I will admit amidst all of this, some secondary or even tertiary characters get to shine.

I read chapter 1 and 2 out of nagging curiosity a few minutes ago after watching this video and... yeah. I have a pretty high tolerance for dark themes and graphic events and I could probably stomach the whole thing if I really had to, but it's still a little uncomfortable to read, so if it gets as bad as people say, then maybe I should quit while I'm ahead. At least there are occasional funny typos and grammar errors that provide a very much needed chuckle here and there.
If I remember correctly, Exercise was changed due to health professionals bringing up the fact that it could cause self image issues with children, not because of fan backlash

I honestly feel like the Fandom has gathered to much negative reputation that it has made people who never have watched the show judge people who like the show and its pretty sad because they see it as a degenerate fandom full of weirdos but in reality the fandom is mostly kind, caring, and accepting of others. I wish that more people could see the better side of the fandom instead of focusing on the bad aspects of the fandom.
This is a tale as old as time, unfortunately. For as long as fandoms have existed, if it gets large enough, weird stuff starts coming out of it and outsiders only see the weird stuff because it gets spread around a lot more than the positive stuff. So ofc outsiders then assume that is what most of the fandom is like, and the entire fandom is labeled as degenerate or bad. Same thing happens to furries, it gets labeled as a fandom full of degenerates and weirdos. Sure there are people in the fandom who are, but a good majority are actually kind and decent, compassionate people. Any fandom that gets enough popularity will inevitably gain a negative reputation, it's just what happens in fandom.

Oh man... Bandit's Belt... Found the fic when someone commented the name on a Bluey dark waters video when the TH-camr didn't want to say the name. I only read the first few words on the first chapter and immediately backed out of fear. And I hate to admit that the cover art is good quality but for something very violent.
Edit: I do agree on harassing The Home Blue will NOT make anything better. If you don't like something, you should ignore them and let the fans be fans. In this case, I'm gonna ignore him and not read the fic. Although, I am interested on some his art, some of which should be censored and blocked for the younger audience.

Yeah, unfortunately all fandoms have "Dead Dove: Do not Eat" content in them when it comes to fanfiction, much like My Little Pony did. It's something you just have to ignore, and try to prevent younger fans from stumbling on it if able.

8:47 Just a note on the topic of firearms and kids shows. Contrary to popular thought, I think we should have a kid show or maybe an episode of one that's dedicated to firearm safety. Kids are naturally curious, and a lot of gun owning adults in the US don't understand proper firearm safety, that's why most gun deaths in the US are due to a negligent discharge, so that means a lot of parents are not storing firearms correctly, kids need to understand how dangerous these things can be when misused. Treating the topic like Voldemort and not talking about it just makes kids more curious about them, and since they're uneducated they won't handle them safely, They could accidently discharge it and injure someone or worse.

Coming from a gun community background and having several veteran friends across multiple outlets and walks of life, the whole "Bluey with Guns" thing is simply a method of attaching friendly & safe materials to the work environment and mentality of what those people either actively deal with or have dealt with in their lifetime. Some people simply like the combination of the characters and weapons because they are both things that they enjoy and they want to express that joy with morale patches & stickers, others who are not military personnel but do enjoy firearms also collect the patches for "funsies" and just to have a chuckle.
This is something that has been a part of military culture for almost 2 centuries now, with servicemen naming numerous vehicles, weapons, etc. after cartoon characters and using their likeness to decorate them (see the story on how Donald Duck & Popeye the Sailor were official mascots for a few U.S. Navy squadrons during WWII-The Vietnam War). I can see why some people would like that stuff, it's a great show with good morals and a very relatable cast (heck, Rusty's dad is in the Australian Army and we even get an entire episode about military-style play with him and Jack playing "dust-off")... I do, however, see a problem with this thing catching on too far. Bluey is inherently a wholesome kids show for the whole family, it's got great marks all around and even the Daily Wire's Matt Walsh enjoyed the show himself (Here's the video, try to muscle your way past the political rhetoric and see what he has to say about it: th-cam.com/video/ik5sGK7TwGk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=U-4lsObkQdpjHqpV ). The issue I take with the whole "Bluey & Guns" trend is that it only really makes sense for Vets and their families, outside of that it isn't a great look... Love the content of this video, though I'm not a major player in the Bluey fandom I do still enjoy the show's warm-hearted nature. Hope to see more content in the future!

I don't get why a bunch of people online are suddenly acting like the Bluey fandom is some kind of terrible, drama-ridden place when it's objectively one of the tamest fandoms I've ever seen (sometimes to a fault). All the "controversies" connected to it are pretty minor, universal things like scalpers, freebooters, & the fact that kink art & grimdark fanfiction exists (which it has the RIGHT to, even if it's not safe for most, just click off the page, be mindful about what you're CHOOSING to consume people!!!). Also, Redditors & Twitter users being toxic & argumentative as usual about anything & everything. Also not exclusive to the fandom.
In fact, every fandom is NO more toxic than the world at large, which SHOULD be intuitive to more people because every fandom is just a large, loosely associated group of people. There's no way to really control that (unless someone's doing something REALLY illegal). Policing people's personal/creative expression based on your personal trauma or moral sensibilities is WRONG & will ALWAYS turn into a moral panic that attacks or stigmatizes people that aren't really doing anything wrong. Case in point: 31:14
Also, it bothers me a bit that every fandom/subculture nowadays has this excessive self-loathing based on the judgement of ignorant, pretentious outsiders who have increasingly made themselves the "moral police" of the internet without much challenge (outside of the opposite extremes) when so much of their judgement is subjective & nosy. At this point I'm going on a tangent, but what do you think?
Also, I don't personally count Elsa-gate stuff as part of the fandom. since that's by bad-faith actors that would probably capitalize on any franchise & already did tbh.

I actually got curious and looked up Bandit's Belt, and from a writing standpoint, it's actually not bad. Granted the subject content is horrific and there is a lot of bad grammar, but I have to say, although it's not written well, it is a good story that's told well and hooks the reader in, which is the main goal of any writer. It just goes to show, even if someone's not the best at grammar or the other technical aspects of writing doesn't necessarily mean they can't be a good writer. Sure, it's overly edgy misery porn, but it's still a story with plenty of suspense that's keeping me reading so far and I can tell it's written from a place of genuine emotion and passion the writer poured into this story.

It honestly takes self reflection and self judgement to get you to make the moves that you want to make to get healthy. I was in a Walmart struggling having back pain leaning on stuff to rest I hated that I had finally had enough. I dropped 60+ in 6 months feel so much better and I'm gonna drop more this year.

The Bluey balloon incident actually reminded me of something very similar that happened here in Mexico.
To give context in Mexico, we have this mascot called Doctor Simi. He’s basically the mascot of a pharmaceutical company that is really successful so much so that colleges in the country they do study it’s success.
Dr simi has merchandise more specifically plush toys what happened was that we had a heavy metal concert here in the city and what the members of the band did was that as they were performing they took out some Dr. Simi plushies and just like the wrestler before hand, they held it up and ripped it to shreds. And for good measure, they threw it into the crowd.
And just like the Bluey incident many people were pissed, not necessarily in the concert, but in the aftermath, because it came up in the news.
If you ask me, I died of laughter when I saw that and if you were to also ask me why exactly did those guys do that? I wouldn’t be sure, but I I think that the members of the band were pissed that Dr. Simi was being like commercialized because we saw a lot of foreign people specially people from China given it praise and stuff and they said “I’m gonna do the same thing but I’m gonna kill it and throw it into the audience.”

For AEW, a Bluey Is All Elite sign is seen in one show while another (maybe the same sign from before) appears during a tournament of matches split into 2 sections. The Bluey sign appears in AEW Collision where they would play in a section called the Blue League. So basically just a fitting place in wrestling to fit a Bluey sign in.
Also if you're still upset about what Greyson did to that balloon fans, just simply tell him wrestling is fake & watch him throw a hissy fit.
7:40 its popular simply because, if there is a show, people want to see the characters with guns ESPECIALLY if its a kids show.
Edit: There is NO POLITICAL STATEMENT behind bluey characters with guns.
