- We set some eggs in the incubator and are excited to see if they will hatch. We have a trip around the farm and Jock takes his quad bike for a spin.
Really appreciated all the positive feedback on the last vlog.
Thanks for watching
Lizzy
Lizzie your patience is unsurpassed.
Little farm kids actually do need mini quad bikes. If they learn early how to be smart, they are less likely to be foolish when they are older. Great job Lizzy.
Bonnie is so adorable. The mother of three children is a Saint! So glad you can eat in the house and not on the road!!! They grow up so fast!! Much love to all!!!
I love Bonnie’s little “YEAH!” At the end with the smile… OMG❤
I watched the Sheepgame vlog when Cammy was at the agricultural show. It was wonderful when Cammy met people they commented that Cammy was lucky to have you, Lizzie. Again , congratulations on your engagement! I think I am lucky you share your life and family with us. Thanks for sharing.
Aww thank you ☺️
Lizzy, you are such a caring, competent and compassionate person! What a great job you make of being a parent to three adorable but very busy children, and an ambitious partner to Cammy. With the kiddos, I think the style you’ve adopted in their raising is commendable! I always tried to adhere to the Jordan Peterson saying, “If your gonna make your kids tough, which they better be if they’re gonna survive in the world, you can’t interfere when they’re doing dangerous things carefully.” Well done, you!!
Yes I think I would go by something similar, I imagine some might think the things the boys do are a little dangerous but they’ve grown up around and watched plenty.
Sweet little Bonnie is like an island of calm, sitting there in her green chair. While the chaos of two boisterous brothers (and father) are being wrangled by mom. I can see the advantage in having three young'uns, so close in age, that the most frantic years of child rearing will be combined in a shorter span of time. Lizzie almost makes it look easy! (though we parents know it isn't)
Love how little Angus follows whatever jock does you have patience of a saint Lizzie
Yes all the good and bad 😂
Oh my goodness, Lizzie, I don't know about you but I need a lie down after watching you with your family. I'm exhausted! I only had two children back in the day, 22 months apart and no farm to help run and that was enough for me! I take my hat off to you!
Great job Lizzy. You are a busy mom, keeping the boys occupied and fed is a full-time job. Bonnie is such a sweet girl, growing up so fast.
Thank you 😊
Your energy is never ending, you exhaust me just watching lol. Yeah, I brought up 6 of my own, but memories are getting old and now I just chuckle watching, bless you all. 🇳🇿
Lizzie you have amazing energy and organized , how you juggle your workload bringing up 3 amazing children blows me away.
What an amazing childhood you are giving those babies! So wonderful that they can access all that space to play and learn and grow right from their doorstep 😁
I must say you remind me of me.Almost fifty years ago! But my mother was appalled that way, I would take my children to the barn and let them sit in the hay, and look at the animals, and when they got older, they still played in the water buckets and in the hayloft. In the summer, my boys would "swim" in the water trough. It's wonderful that you're giving your children great opportunities! You're a wonderful mother, Lizzie!
:) love these memories. hugs
I've said this before and it bears repeating, you have amazing patience! Kids are growing very well and quickly!!
Thank you that’s very kind ☺️
I had three kids each a year apart, my were boy, boy, then girl just like you. Watching you with the kiddos brings back such memories!!
I love that you treat your kids like real people, not possessions.
Thank you for sharing your story with us
My goodness Lizzie you are the greatest Mum / Farmer that i haver ever seen and have the patience of a Saint, respect 🙏👏👏👏👏👏😘-Lorna x
You do a smashing job Lizzie. I’d unfortunately need earplugs 😂
Oh Lizzie, my hero! Glad you treated yourself to new boots!
Well done Lizzie. We only see 20-30 minutes but you have it all day. Speaking as a mother of 4 3 boys and a girl who thankfully now are adult babies.I know it's a lot of work. They grow so quickly enjoy them. Take care ❤💖✨
Yeah it’s just a snippet of our day, if only putting clothes and waterproofs on took seconds eh 😂
Fresh air and full bellies make for healthy happy children. Great idea to let the children experience hatching eggs so they can help raise and care for the chickens on your new farm❤
Yeah our kids have grown up on that and love it, definitely noticed a difference last Friday when we couldn’t go outside because of the storm, boys were bouncing off the walls!
Such a wonderful glimpse into your day with three kiddies. I am tired just watching you get them ready to start the day!!!! I admire you as a momma, sheep farmer and wife. Great video.
Yeah is quite a mission in the winter especially to get everyone dressed, when we are off farm can be in and out the truck 3/4 times a day 🤦♀️🤪
Tremendously overjoyed for your family to moved on to this chapter in you lives!
This was wonderful to see how happy the kids are at the new place. Have a great rest of your week.
Lizzie you have the patience of a saint, you are a Great Mum. Love from Australia
Lizzie has incredible focus!
Awesome video Lizzy, as mentioned great mothering skills.
We have just brought out our incubator a Brinsea 24 egg 🥚, our last lot 12 fertile egg's and 9 hatched. We had one weak one that I thought would not make it. Shirley had mother hen head on and with the great advice from Ayrshire chicken forum's saved the wee hens life and in return is giving daily egg's even though it's winter. ❤🏴
Mother of the Year goes to you, Lizzy. And incubating eggs is such a great project involving the kids!🦌👍💌🐑🐣🐥
Another busy day with three little ones on the farm. You are giving ghose little ones a great life and education. 😊❤❤❤
Really lovely video, I loved the way bonnie just waited for her lunch ,she is such a good baby .it's a brilliant way for the children to learn about the life of chickens with the eggs ❤
Thank you Sara
Your such a wonderful mum
Incubating eggs was a highlight in my childhood. I do admire your ability to wrangle kids and do chores.
🇨🇦 what a busy life you lead! You are so patient ❤
You are such a great mom. So patient and caring. ❤
Managing all three and a camera… all the praise and admiration. Lizzy, you’re amazing. And Bonnie is a smiling angel. It’s gonna be a lot to keep up after those boys. Take care.
Thank you, yes hopefully Bonnie will be up and about soon enough to keep the boys in line 😊
What a great video Lizzie. How great for you all to be at the farm. So much easier for you. Mind you, getting all 3 ready is a job in itself. They are all so lovely. ❤
Yes it was great to have been at the farm a bit, having said that we’ve spent most of the week off farm but just the way it goes, lambing will be great 😊
Great seeing you and the kids enjoying the new farm , lunch in the house in the warmth must feel amazing , you will need to make a lunch for Spot lol , or at least a wee 1/4 of a cheese sandwich an odd day he think he's missing out with no fallen bits to find. Oh I really hope you have a few chicks I know you wont give up , great for the kids to see the egg to chick full cycle of life.
Yes was nice to come in to have lunch, have been on the road all week, but hopefully get a few more at the house soon. 😊
I can't believe how patient you are! Hahahaha 😂 I'm old and my patience has become very little. You're a great Mom Lizzy!
He's pretty good on the bike and kids who grow up in the country are ahead of the game of life . We have kids here in America driving tractors and trucks on the farm . It's better if kids aren't coddled and learn things early .
Poor Angus. 😢 Jock just rules the world! 😂
Jock has some energy to burn off😂😬❤️🇨🇦
He does need a lot of running and often asks to get out the buggy and run 😊
Lizzy you have the patience of a saint. 👏🏼
They are growing so fast! Enjoy them while you can.
Oh the kitchen is wonderful. Mudroom too! It is so wonderful that you can just walk out the door to work and not do as much get in the truck to go to it. This makes me so happy for you. And love seeing the memories of the wee one days. I loved that so much. Bonnie is such a happy baby. Love the little bike Josh does quite well but that is no surprise. And Angus in the pram and his little rake...You are such a good Mummy and yes you will have to hear that forever :) So much excitement in this video. Loved it. hugs
Great video Lizzie I admire your patience and getting the kids involved in things fingers crossed for some chicks
Congrats on the new house and farm! :D The house (little part we got to se) look lovely! :D
Yes the house is amazing and working really well for our family 😊
Congratulations Lizzie! We are so so happy for you all! Can't wait to follow the adventures! All the very very best!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️🐑
Love seeing the little ones! Jock seems to have the same personality as my 3rd son, and Angus reminds me of my 2nd son, much more quiet and waits to see before jumping in. And little Bonnie is as quiet and sweet as my youngest and only daughter was. Love those sweet smiles! Sometimes I miss having little ones, but then I'm around them or watch a video like this and I remember how stressed and overstimulated I used to get from the constant noise and dangerous things they do. 😅 Not to mention the exhaustion. Thanks for sharing. You're so patient with them.
Thank you, yes the boys are quite different characters at the moment, didn’t realise how crazy Jock was being until I watched this back! 🤪
@ most boys are pretty wild at that age! He'll settle down. It's obvious they're good kids, even at such a young age. You're raising them well. My kids really enjoyed taking care of the animals when we lived on a farm. They'll be such a help when they're older. And at a much younger age than most people would expect. My daughter was milking goats by age 4. I didn't think she could do it, but she insisted! She was so slow and not strong enough to milk more than 1, but it made her so happy to help I let her milk our gentlest, most patient doe every day. I think it was great boost to her confidence as she was always trailing behind her big brothers and couldn't really keep up.
Thanks Lizzie for sharing a day with your energetic we rascals. Such a delight to see the farm Bonnie will soon be in the fray with boys giving Jock a run for his money now dought .❤
Watching this back and seeing Jock from the outside he had some pretty crazy moments, I think I’m immune to it and just wrapped up in the whole 3 small kids thing 😂
Oh my, that brought memories back when mom would incubate our hens egg. Your children will have amazing memories 😊
🤞they’re meant to be hatching in a couple days
Lovely video Lizzie, thank you x
Good luck with the eggs Lizzy i managed to hatch 3 out of 6 Brahma eggs that i bought off the Internet. i got 2 hens and one cock they were beautiful birds i did have a very broody hen so she did the work bless her.
When you have a young boy and you live in a farm it a no brainer to get him a quad. It will make him a much more sensible rider and experienced and yes, Angus will soon want his own, and then you will have to get a pink one 😊😀. You will need the CFMoto to keep up 🤣. Thank you for sharing your day with us. Take care 💜
Chicken hedging is amazing and such an event for the kids.
Best mom 👍😇
You don't have to justify why Jock has quad bike you have the space for him to ride it without causing any issues to anyone else. Keep up the good work ❤
Jock is a good driver! Better than Dad. lol. It might be fun for Jock to cross off the days until they hatch on a calendar.
Yes that would have been a great idea and I’ll keep it in mind for another time, hopefully just a couple days left until hatching 🤞
@@FarmingBornBred-sf7fl The boys will be so excited!
Brilliant. Thanks for sharing. You are absolutely amazing Lizzie. You are so cool, calm and collected.
I enjoy your videos so much. Congratulations on your engagement! You are a beautiful family.
❤
I'm not gonna lie but I'm well excited for the eggs!! Come on, cheep, cheeps. Nice to see you back, Lizzy! Was so excited about getting a sheep game hoodie for Christmas, and then I watched facebook to see you both bought a farm and Cammy proposed.....❤❤I was screaming with excitement for you! So congratulations to you both. I can't wait to join you all on this exciting new adventure!!
Well hopefully we are just two days away from chicks if they are going to hatch so 🤞
@FarmingBornBred-sf7fl 🤞🤞 will be a fantastic addition to the farm! Nice for the boys and Bonnie to be able to collect their eggs for breakfast! Are you planning on getting 🐖??
You are such a good mom!❤❤❤
Lizzy, you are a champion! Such a good good mom. So patient and loving and kind, your children are blessed to have you!
Ooh, chickens!
🤞 a couple days to go if they do hatch
Fantastic video!!!
You can certainly tell that Jock is Cammy's son. He must have his motorbike and he can't wait to ride it. When I saw the look on Cammy's face when he was selling his sheep and lusting over that tractor, you can see that nothing has changed since he was three.
By 3 our son was riding a 250cc 4 wheeler, which in first gear, was the only gear he could get into. He wasn't allowed to go out down to the waterway, due to steepness of the track.
Your new home looks amazing,, your a super woman and really admire your work ethic ❤❤❤
Love your new kitchen, especially the stove.
It’s a great kitchen a nice open plan kitchen/living area so I can watch the kids but still be doing bits in the kitchen 😊
Beautiful family. I love your content❤
Grand vlog Lizzy, thanks for sharing. Lovely to see Jock, Angus & Bonnie developing. A grand wee family.
OMG.. how do you do all that?? There is not enough of you to go around. Re: quad... love the safety switch and that may be the first moment you have minus Jock all day! Think he learned how to behave on the quad because of riding with his Dad all this time? Chickens.. great idea.. look forward to their arrival. The new house looks amazing. Thanks for sharing! Love from the USA!
Your patients is remarkable! :D
How you just keep calm with the kids being kids! :D
Actually watching this footage back I hadn’t realised how crazy Jock was 🤪😂
Bonnie is so cute.
Bonnie's bib is one that is as old as plastic has been around! Every generation has it's style, but...
Yes I remember my mum used to call them a pelican bib.
Watching you dress the kids in all their their winter gear made me appreciate being in Australia. Winter? Yep, just grab a pair of wellies, a parka and you’re done.
Yes it’s quite a mission, but I do find I have a bit less washing in the winter if they have these on all day they keep pretty clean clothes underneath 😊
I think mummy needs a nap! ❤️🇨🇦
I think its a great thing for him to have the bike, its so fun and he Lears so much on it! :)
Lizzie may goodness you've your hands full pet and you still kept your cool lol, loved your vlog amazing.❤️👏👏👏👏
Wow, amazing Lizzy
Danke!
Aww that’s very kind, thank you
You sure do have your dressing sessions streamlined!!🎉
They play ball for this bit mostly but at the moment Angus is a nightmare to get his clothes on we have to have a full on wrestle 😂
❤❤
Amazing video Lizzy ❤❤❤😊
If you would like some more eggs this season, I will have some from my show pen of blue/palomino Vorwerk LF, which I would be more than happy to send to you all for free.
Thank you for offer, we’ll see how these go 👍
Super video Liz
FBaB. Respect to you I just loved watching it all so well done Lizzy, just amazing how much energy the kids have
A friend had an ATV accident where he flew off the front of the quad bike, The front part of the helmet that sticks out planted in the dirt, snapping his head forward onto his chest. It's been 8 years of physical therapy, and he still has problems. I just don't trust the helmets with protruding visors.
Aww very sorry your friend has had such a long recovery after their accident, I was under the impression that these were safer than other styles, something I’ll look into.
Much bigger kitchen. I bet you are loving that as well.
Yes the whole house is much more functional and really working for our family 😊
❤❤❤❤😊
Ooh your chicks are going to like their Easter chicks
Show Jock a calendar and count down for the chicks marking off each day.
Ooh that’s a good idea, should of done that, just 2 days left now but will do that when we hatch something else 👍
Lizzy you are a super mum! Always using every opportunity for teaching the wee ones something and with the kindness and patience of a goddess! Love the music in your vids but sometimes struggle to hear you without constantly adjusting the sound - maybe a separate microphone would be an idea? Looking forward to see Jock Angus and Bonny when the chickens hatch - thank you for sharing a bit of your busy life with us x 😊😊😊
Ok that’s great feedback, I did think I was a bit quiet when talking about the cows, will look into it. 👍
I don't know how you do all you do and make it look like it's so easy .
Thank you, I’m surprised you didn’t see the beads of sweat on my face whilst putting the eggs in, they have cracked a few on the floor whilst baking so I was panicking 😂
Great! First Cammy scares you like hell, some seconds later you took your revenge at us with the volume of the music.... 😉🙃😂😂
But seriously - your patience is without compare, you appear not even stressed in anyway in this slightly Tohuwabohu ignited by the 3 Hobbits of Steel! 🥰😝😇
Sorry that the sound was a bit off there, still getting to grips with the editing.
@@FarmingBornBred-sf7fl Everything is fine! It was just so funny - you got scared by Cammy in the video and 30 secs later I sat here with a similar face expression and had a hard laugh when I thought "Well, you got me too!" 😅😂
Bonnie has such a lovely smile. She takes after her mom. Have the boys managed to stick anything up their noses yet?
Ooh no we haven’t had that one yet!
@@FarmingBornBred-sf7fl And hopefully you won't!
Bonnie was very impatient for her lunch haha
The bike is a wonderful vehicle. I do wonder though is it gas or electric?
It’s a 2 stroke petrol engine, think he nearly got a months use out of it before we had to put more in!
@ Thank you. My grandson would love to have a quad like that.
Your patience seems boundless.
best of luck with the hatching
You are patient.. Toddler's are testy little creatures
Ooh they definitely are 🤪
What patients Lizzie has, I guess I forgot what it was like. Lol
Lizzie, has the H5N1 avian flu had much impact on the local Ayrshire poultry industry? It's looking like we are in for more of it in North America in 2025.
Not that I’ve heard it has more of an impact further down south in England.
