I love this, Ryan. You clearly articulated what I have been thinking for a while but not able to express. Yes, the heart/mind is the most powerful engine. Only when we fully explore the power of the mind, gain much clarity and wisdom, we can use astrology with ease. I miss the pure, clear, light mind last year after I went to the 10 day meditation camp. Your video reminds me that I need to take meditation seriously.
Thank You for this....when I try to talk to people about astrology so often people immediately think it asserts you don't have self direction. I immediately tell the person it's the exact opposite, when you understand your past and your current predisposition then you can TRULY make better choices from your heart space and not any other space. Astrology helped me understand why I was struggling in my happiness and has opened me to understanding the only way to work on my karma and fears is to WORK on them and challenge myself to do the things I naturally have fear to do...that's the whole point. I think when people start to understand that it becomes easier to manifest your path because you are conscious that you're on it. I pinned a quote on my Pinterest that really resonates with me: Until you make the Unconscious CONSCIOUS it will direct your life and you will call FATE! For me this means until you deal with all the parts of you, head on, you will look to other people to tell you how to live your life and you will blame them when things don't go as planned.

There is a big difference between intelligence and wisdom. You combine both...the scientific intelligence of astrological study and pure wisdom of the soul which can only be acquired through experience and soul evolution. You have both and you are blending both here, which is the only way to understand Astrology in the correct and useful way. The knowledge that inspite of knowing or not knowing astrology , our heart, our soul , will still take us to the necessary route we were destined to be on in this incarnation. This is a great video. Also the origin of the "follow your bliss" thing is from Joseph Campbell, and he never said the other part about "the money will follow". He just said to follow your bliss, like you are saying, just do it. Do it for the sake of doing it if nothing more. People later went and embellished/associated that with money long after him.

Years back I was watching Docu Mehmet ottoman the sultan. That notorious constantinople conquering was about to retreat then serbian royal astrologers changed the history that night. I have second house trine of Mars in Aquarius, trine Neptune at MC in Libra, trine Uranus in Gemini in 6th house which says that I will follow an avocation all of my life, rather than a vocation. I totally agree about learning to listen to your 'self' and not follow astrology blindly. However, I disagree about always listening to the heart, or focusing on the heart chakra. That is not necessarily where our inner wisdom lies, in my experience. I believe that our intuition talks to us through the body because it is actually more connected to the right brain. So if you learn through mindfulness meditation to do body scans and notice the spot that has the most sensation, it is usually the solar plexus, heart, or throat. I find that the throat and heart hold more trauma-related tensions and the solar plexus is often that 'pulling' or 'nudge' that we tend to ignore. At least some of us. Some people are very in tune with their gut, and make decisions that way and I am learning to do this. The more that I pay attention to these felt senses and not my thoughts, etc, the better that my life works. It is a slow process learning this, I agree. But I think one might miss the boat if you always put your attention on your heart or heart chakra and think that is where the answers will be. That hasn't worked for me. Or if you do like focusing on your heart, check with your gut and see how it feels. I have also experienced this during neurofeedback. When I entered an alpha (calm) but not a theta (blissful) state, the answer to something that was bothering just became clear. That is because in that state the brain makes connections that come into your awareness. Anyway, this is what is working for me. Everyone is different, though, so do what is best for you.

There are 2 'heart' chakras one is the astral Anahata Chakra and other is the spiritual heart which Ramana maharishi had mentioned. This is the core I believe that Ryan is referring to which lies on the upper right side of one's chest.

The biggest difference between Cayce’s perspective on astrology and what might be thought of as traditional astrology is that Cayce said that the placement of the stars and the planets at our birth were an indication of our past sojourns amongst the planets and the stars. I totally agree about learning to listen to your 'self' and not follow astrology blindly. However, I disagree about always listening to the heart, or focusing on the heart chakra. That is not necessarily where our inner wisdom lies, in my experience. I believe that our intuition talks to us through the body because it is actually more connected to the right brain. So if you learn through mindfulness meditation to do body scans and notice the spot that has the most sensation, it is usually the solar plexus, heart, or throat. I find that the throat and heart hold more trauma-related tensions and the solar plexus is often that 'pulling' or 'nudge' that we tend to ignore. At least some of us. Some people are very in tune with their gut, and make decisions that way and I am learning to do this. The more that I pay attention to these felt senses and not my thoughts, etc, the better that my life works. It is a slow process learning this, I agree. But I think one might miss the boat if you always put your attention on your heart or heart chakra and think that is where the answers will be. That hasn't worked for me. Or if you do like focusing on your heart, check with your gut and see how it feels. I have also experienced this during neurofeedback. When I entered an alpha (calm) but not a theta (blissful) state, the answer to something that was bothering just became clear. That is because in that state the brain makes connections that come into your awareness. Anyway, this is what is working for me. Everyone is different, though, so do what is best for you.
Ananda Joy by heart I meant the core of your being, not specifically a physical thing or location. I just tend to point in that direction out of habit.
There are 2 'heart' chakras one is the astral Anahata Chakra and other
is the spiritual heart which Ramana maharishi had mentioned. This is the
core I believe that Ryan is referring to which lies on the upper right
side of one's chest.
