You're right, there are some small imperfections, if I'm not mistaken, even in the performance of the band, there is Angelina who, as the song ends, immediately goes to the bassist as if to take stock.. it would have been nice to hear what he was saying.. .good life

This was a concert in front of her school mates... 9 years of age here. "I feel good" (not to be confused with "Feeling Good" is well worth the watch at this concert. The kids are yelling and screaming reminiscent of a Beatles concert. And Angelina really had a blast.

Per Steinar Hatlen: It is not her classmates, friends and teachers standing in the audience. This is real audience from northern Norway. She was 9 years old. She was performing at Hemnes Båt & Fjord Festival up north in Norway. This is in June 2015, and it is very close to the arctic part of Norway. I assume that it was a bit chilly outside even in June. She was still barefooted. This is a small village 921 kilometers (572 miles) north of her home city of Oslo, where she was living at the time.

She was 9 here (17 today), but she started to perform the song already in public half a year earlier at late 8.

Great reaction and she covered Etta with a song when she was 12, problems with the recording so they dubbed over her recording that she re-sang it at 13. It is "I'd Rather Go Blind", enjoy and God Bless!
Angelina Jordan is the best voice of all time in my opinion and in a lot more too. But there are those people that like the drama the belting and the flashy stuff, those people would not like Angelina's voice because Angelina sings with passion and sings the song how it should be sung not how she should belt the part or run the part. Angelina's belting and runs are exquisite to the human ear and not so loud, to keep the song in balance. She is truly a superstar and who thinks otherwise certainly doesn't know what music should be. This is my second time commenting on this. I hadn’t seen this particular performance before, but I had seen her other covers of this song. I’ve watched this over and over. Your first reaction was exactly true: this is insane. It doesn’t matter that it’s not perfect. It’s just a joy to see an 8 year old with this jazzy take pouring out of her. She knows what she wants to do, even if she can’t do it perfectly every time. Her phrasing is not possible for a child, but there it is.
For something similar, watch her at 10 singing her heart out, beautifully, on My Funny Valentine-and then watch her at 16 just killing it with those vocal tools that no one else can match today. As you listen to Angelina more and watch her do the same song at different ages or in different venues, you’ll see that she’s a true jazz singer. We get extemporaneous jazz, with Angelina giving us a different take each time depending on the setting or the band behind her or maybe her mood. At one of her early performances, she said she started singing at one and a half years old. When asked what song she sang, Angelina said she started with jazz. Clearly, she understands the essence of jazz, and she delivers.

Also note when asked who she would like to tour with and open for if she could choose, she said Beyoncé. So that's kind of neat for you as a massive Beyoncé fan. Totally agree with you! But:
Angelina's recordings have sometimes been hidden for many months! Sometimes over a year, before they have been featured on TH-cam and other places. Therefore, we cannot be so sure that the recording was made just before we found them.
