Metallica - King Sandman (Mashup)

- This is a highly requested mashup of King Nothing and Enter Sandman. This one took a little more time than usual, as I had to record all the guitar parts. I had to change the key of the prechorus to match Enter Sandman's vocal part. All in all, this was very fun to make.
It might be a while before the next one, as I'm having PC problems, and getting a new one soon. Stay tuned!

I always thought of King Nothing as part 2 to Enter Sandman.
Jacob Madden considering at the end of king nothing James says "we're off to never never land"
Yeah and overall the song is very similar.
And Slither is part 3.
The structure of the two songs is the same. The "off to n-n land" above is a nod to that.
Kinda like how Better Than You is a sequel to Holier Than Thou
I bought Load when I was 9 because you could listen to a 30 second clip when scanning the CD at the record store. When I heard King Nothing, I thought it was Enter Sandman. A couple days later, I heard Enter Sandman on the radio and was a confused wee boy.

This is super awesome. Only Problem is, there are only so much master tracks available. For example Devils Dance and Harvester are both not available if recall correctly.
oelapaloma Exactly! I'd love to do a lot of these but some of them simply aren't possible unless I just record everything myself. and even then, there would be no vocals.

I've been thinking about how good Hero of the Day that Never Comes would sound (Hero of the Day and The Day that Never Comes), they're only a half step apart from each other in key (although Hero of the Day is major and The Day that Never Comes is minor) and the tempo is almost identical in the two (4 bpm off). That might be a good one to try!

Next time you should flip the vocals and instrumental around. Use the Enter Sandman instrumental with the King Nothing vocals.

Should've downtuned the vocals instead of tuning up the instrumental. Uptuning always sounds weird.
I didn't uptune anything. I re-recorded the guitar track in standard and kept the drums like in the original

I also have the original tracks. I rerecorced the guitars because a few parts needed changed to fit the Enter Sandman vocal parts
