- The most difficult monster I had to go against using Adrenaline... and I think it'll be easy to see why. The amount of needles Z Hyuji puts on the ground were pretty difficult to always navigate around when I was recording.
Walking into them was okay if it was just the first or second phases, but it would really complicate things in the last phase.
Walking on the needles gives you the bleeding status (which is MUCH stronger in Frontier than in mainline), your hunter will also have a couple needles perforated through their body. If this happens during the last phase, when Z Hyuji enters "Super Saiyan" state and the thunderstorm begins, the needles inside your hunter will attract lighting and strike you.
Thankfully I managed to record this run, which was obviously my best, without ever walking into them and never had to use my Bleed Cures.
Z Hyuji is a surprisingly chill fight for a Zenith monster. This has to do with pretty much all of its attacks being very well telegraphed with the exception of the really annoying, full-body hitbox Barioth-like bites. It also likes to throw needles forward a lot which leaves it pretty open.
When Z Hyuji locks in on hunters, it jumps in the air and throw a large needle that, if it hits, brutally pikes them on the ground, unable to move, until lightning strikes the needle. While it is one of the most brutal one-shot attacks in the game, avoiding it offers a really big opening, and weapons with a shield or a counter can hilariously parry the needle back to Z Hyuji, which guarantees a KO on it.
The funniest thing once you get to fight Z Huijikiki is that once you see the regular Hyujikiki again it looks like they are pretty much naked lmao. Take a look between the regular one and the Zenith one to compare. Also, Zenith Hyujikiki no longer uses its paralysing, sedative AND poisoning venom, which the regular ones have coating their needles. Zenith Hyujiki is all about brute force from its needles and using them as a way to call lightning down on hunters to defend itself.
I had to mix the volume of the songs a lot in this one, mainly because when the thunderstorm begins, there is constant white-noisy rain SFX, so I had to lower the volume of the gameplay a bit during the last phase so that the audio in the video doesn't turn into an indigestible audio muck.

Genuine props to you for continuing to play frontier this long, i saw the material requirements for getting a good set and how absurdly complicated it was and I said noooope Z1 is good enough
In rain server you just buy them, pretty straight forward, but it is time consuming and boring, need to spent 3-4 hours straight so you can get decent point from road, and thats not enough for full set, need more maybe another 3 runs, i dont really remember. Not to mention some rainbow skill perfect guard whatever and gem? But these arent as important as the points though. But if you want to grind them normally, yeah it is even more time consuming.
I took my time with this game because I really loved it. I farmed countless Zeniths to make Zenith sets upgraded to nearly maximum, and then I worked hard to get to floor 100 of Hunting Road which opened up all the possibilities since it unlocked ZP sets. Also, I'm not in Rain server, I'm in Renewal, which does a decent job balancing what you can or cannot buy and for how much.
@@dynamo_lynn hmm yes in rain server the requirements is rather lower, you only gotta need a specific number of white fatalis (maybe the highest is 100? i genuinely forgot)in road mission and reach floor 70.
And pretty much almost everything is unlocked through road shop, barring those ravi material, and some unique materials, but any end game armor and decoration should be there.
There are custom servers or such where the material requirements are significantly reduced I think.
Poogie is cheering you on! Is the cutest notification I've ever seen in a Mh game
i know right?
As someone who’s only ever played mainline Monster Hunter, this looks like some kind of wild fever dream caused by hours of deviant grinding
NORMAL HYUJIKIKI LOOKING NAKED IS SO ACCURATE LMAO
Low rank highlands theme my beloved
Is it like a porcupine barioth?
You're like a porcupine Barioth 🗿
That hammer reminds me of Souls in a way. Looks really fuckin long.. I love hammer so fucking much might have to play frontier
Love the porcupine nargacuga
Look more like a porcupine Gigginox to me... Nah, it looks like a bacteria.
No, this monster in fact looks exactly like a sturgeon. Both have bones after all, and that's apparently reason enough to call it "(something) sturgeon"!
So many road runs ended by this guy
沒有傷害數值顯示嗎
@@dynamo_lynnare you replaying to a chinese comment in japanese?
@@saltyluigi4011 odd thing about deepl is that it translates Chinese as if it was Japanese so I assumed that's what it was, now that I look at their comment again it does look like Chinese... I never had a Chinese comment before.
Ah yes
The OG Seregios(I like Seregios more tho)
I know you clenched up for when you almost rolled into some spikes and almost got hit by the tail 😂
Excellent run tho, those 4th charge bonks feel immaculate to hit and with Hammer Feature up it's just peak, stuns gallore, especially on Road as Damage/Control support
LMFAO It seems the little damage I got on his tail at the beginning carried to get a stagger right to the end, that was so dumb lucky
not you getting struck by lightning while carving 😭😭😭
Nergigante is that you?
