@@classicminiworkshop mm thicker grease is a good shout! I've had no problem with normal grease before but then I've done more bushes than bearings. I think the fact the bread actually smashed inner section of the bearing out and left the outer race there means it was mega stuck aswell

From memory I've used an almost perfect fit drill bit and really thick water pump grease. Maybe I just got lucky!

I too do the “TVR Victory Dance” once I’ve fixed an electronic issue (plenty of those) or undone a stupidly tight bolt (without snapping).
