I remember a Glock quote. "Im the luckiest unlucky player there is" tgis episode proves it! A spider and wolf on day 1! Looks like parkour could come in clutch
I love watching Glock9 but this is another level, funniest thing I've watched, I'm glued to my chair watching this, how did you not die during that spider zombie segment. This is amazing, looking forward to more!!
THIS IS AMAZING. Most zombie-style movies are just as unforgiving.. one bite and your done, so this series is super true to that idea :) lovin' it Glock!
When I saw that wolf I thought it was all over, man. Moreso than at Big Buns, I was certain it was over! But, damn, you parkoured your way out of there like an animal. Incredible episode!
Ok, so far this is great. Love the panicky moments and the tension, especially during the Battle of Big Buns. Also, props on the wolf-fueled parkour. Nicely done. Can't wait to see Day 2 and the shenanigans it brings.
Hey Glock9, I’m sure you get these kinda messages all the time but still wanted to add my own. I’ve recently been told I have stage 3 cancer and have started my various treatments. Obviously it’s not an easy process, but thanks to you I’ve found a way to ease my way through it. Well, mostly. Not only am I enjoying your content, but I’ve gotten back into playing 7 days since alpha 20 has looked so fun. It’s been really helpful in passing away the hours after treatments and taking my mind off of things. So genuinely from the heart dude, thank you for what you do.
I can hardly believe you got away with that whole Big Buns vs the Spider-Zomb and Sudden Wolf! Your reactions were golden, but your reflexes are in full bloom and show in this episode! Really well done!
Paused 3 and a half minutes in to say: To make this challenge a little more uh... balanced, you could max out loot abundance and exp bonus. Since you can die in one hit, you're going to be doing the beginning part of the game many times. Without the extra help, you're either going to have to get guder than most darksouls players, or fall to the great frustration.
Kenny is always looming, waiting for his moment. You think its going to be something extravagant that kills you like a Spider or feral, but no, it will be Kenny. The Kenny gods have spoken, it is ordained.
Watching this first episode had me jumping out of my chair when you opened the back door at big buns and then the wolf…holy crap this is gonna be a fun challenge
Haha this is so nerve wrecking xD can't wait for next episode. Could I suggest making wooden spikes and just have them ready to place down while running away, could help chip away at the zombies
This is a pretty neat series, it makes you have to fight from a distance rather then up close and personal, and you have to be a lot more careful of your surroundings. I'm surprised you survived 1 day of this, can't wait to see what happens next.
i will be honest i thought glock was going to die outside big buns lol, that spider zombie didn't want to let him get away that easy for sure, a great first episode 👊
Oh my god, this was, by far, the most intense, exciting episode I’ve seen in a good long time. Not that Glock doesn’t put good stuff out, but this one carried with it a degree of risk far more intense than other episodes and I was fully expecting to see Glock die today. Thank goodness he didn’t.
I am sitting here alone in front of my computer freaking out at both the wolf and the spider monkey zombie. This is some of the most fun I've had on youtube. And I think others really enjoyed it as well. Please keep this challenge going on and on no matter how many attempts you go through!
I definitely see this becoming a well known (Glock9 challenge) amongst other 7DTD content creators and players. I’m so jelly, I’m still stuck on console version :(
Glock9 introduced me to my favorite content when he said he plays permadeath. . . I had no clue I could actually be this excited at a TH-cam video. Unbelievable. It will only get more exciting as the character progresses and more is at stake.
Glock, I don’t know how you keep doing it, but every series you have put out has been my favorite. I thought that the cabin in the woods couldn’t be topped, then farmer Glock was the best one in my mind, and I am really enjoying you doing rambling man, and now this one was so entertaining! Great work my friend, keep it up!
I was on the edge of my seat with that spider monkey dance haha. G9 said it best "this is how this game is meant to be played". I have noticed games get really easy and playing something that creates fear and excitement is great. That's why i don't play on official servers anymore. :D
This by far the best 7DtD content i've seen in a long time. The jump scares were real and i actually jumped when that wolf appeared. Keep this going please!!
Masochist mode...reminds me of "The Long Dark" on Interloper difficulty...that's a great game. It's a Canadian apocalyptic winter survival game. Basically your small plane crashes in middle of nowhere Northern Canada in September, and basically almost everyone is dead, with a small few surviving NPC's around the place. Like a crashed prison bus of the worst of Canadian criminals.
TLD is a great game, not as action packed as 7DTD, but very unforgivning. Would be nice to see Glock try that one 😊 I follow a streamer that did 500+ days on interloper. One try he died at 473 days…. 😱
I've often thought when going into POIs, "Let's see if we can do this without getting hit," And then I laugh at myself for being silly. I am rooting for you with this challenge. Win or lose it seems like it will be a lot of fun for everyone.
Intense! What a concept. Not gonna lie, I peed a little a couple times, fell outta my chair once and needed a drink after this episode. Jersey boy got moves!! Keep up the great work.
That was the most intense and exciting episode I`ve ever watched on this channel so far. Keep going with this series, please xD These moments when a spider zombie and wolf scared the crap out of you were truely worth to see, man
Glock this was absolutely incredible and I hope you make it through to day 3 at the least, talk about both skill and luck, both came in on this and you gotta be rocking it to not catch a hit from all the zombies and even the wolf! Makes me think of how worried I get even in games that I start to shake when I'm in danger in nearly any game. Really gets the heart rate going!
I like the idea of catching infection each time you take a hit and only having about 30 seconds until it becomes fatal This would mean honey becomes basically meaningless since it only cures 5% of an infection per dose. Maybe even disallow yourself from crafting antibiotics for the additional challenge Loved this first episode!
YES! Woke up well rested at 4PM (God i love my disability check), and found this as soon as i sat down with my morning coffee..! Perfect start for my day =) OMG, that stuff looked even more difficult than i had imagined. At first i was thinking it might be fun to try, but... I usually get killed by a wolf during the first few days when i play normally... And with one shot kills, those spider zombies are a bit much, LOL!
Diggin' the new challenge Glock! It's like the commercials for the old Sunday Spectaculars- "We'll give you the whole seat, but you'll only need the *edge*!" lol
Bows and crossbows got a huge buff this Alpha. Primitive bows 1 with Stone arrow are in alpha 20 almost as good as compound bows 5 with steel arrows were in alpha 19, they'll probably one shot any normal zombie with sneak headshots
@@DensetsuTekina in this case i think It was just the dismenber chance of the agility perk, a bear has too many live to be oneshoted, but yeah, this things are beasts now
That was stressful just watching! A thing worth noting is that the Z's will always zigzag when they are not chasing you in a cardinal direction, N, S, E or W which makes them real hard to hit with an arrow. If you can kite them into cardinal direction they run in a steady straight line.
I have been looking forward to this since the trailer. Such a great idea and 7 days even made it spicier than I thought it would be. And this is just the first day. . .buckle up everyone!
For a OHKO series I would say a primarily Intelligence/Perception/Agility build focusing on Stun Batons, Deadeye/Penetrator and Sneak (and Sprinting if sneak fails) with Spears being early game is necessary. Low stamina crowd control and getting the drop on the Zed are going to be critical during normal gameplay while electrical traps (fencing, blade and dart traps) are going to be vital for facing blood moon hordes.
dayum that was intense! makes Rambling Man look like a walk in the park lol. Good luck with this Glock, looking forward to seeing how far you can take it ))
20:12 you can get positive net modifiers to your stamina regen and noise by adding the mods to the armor while spec'd into it (even just 2 points) cuz somehow putting on pounds of leather makes you lighter then wearing nothing, as long as you've trained for it And of course padded is just the best, if not spec'd in, tho it can't equip noise/stamina mods
This is nice to see... Glock9, you are usually wading thru zeds like nothing, so to hear fear in your voice and see you franticly juking, dodging and fighting for your life is refreshing. I've always modded the XML's to make the zombies more of them/tougher/deadly... so you are right... this is the way it should be played.
Amazing idea for a challenge. Makes me wish I could disable the video time display because that spider zombie was intense but I knew from how much time was left you wouldn't die :D Impressive skill, surviving day one especially after the wolf :D
I remember a Glock quote. "Im the luckiest unlucky player there is" tgis episode proves it! A spider and wolf on day 1! Looks like parkour could come in clutch
I had the same thought. 😆
Feral spider no less
That move on the mailbox was flawless until he realized he just put himself in a cage 😂
I love the panic in your voice. I'd have died so much sooner. Lol
But also a cooking pot, gold, and a working gun
This is probably the most nerve-wracking 7DtD content I've seen. Hell yeah.
I survived 3 heart attacks!
I cringed so hard like 4 times expecting the end. That was something else.
Nightmare: am i a joke to you?
Glocks content is the best 7DtD content period
The beginning with the spider monkey was intense! This is going to be a great challenge/mini series.
Me and my wife were straight up freaking out lol!
@@j21boomboom W
i was so scared at that part lol
It was a feral spider, too. Had twice the HP of a normal one. On day one. Crazy.
I was screaming so loud when it was chasing Glock....OMG how Glock survived it was amazing!
28:40 was the single best display of parkour I've seen this side of 7DTD.
When you opened that door at 11:45 and there was a zombie waiting for you. I thought it was over. Lol definitely a fun watch. Keep it up.
Same. I literally jumped and startled my dog.
I just about pooped my pants.
I love watching Glock9 but this is another level, funniest thing I've watched, I'm glued to my chair watching this, how did you not die during that spider zombie segment. This is amazing, looking forward to more!!
Dang. My heart was pounding right along with ya! Cool challenge and excited to see how long you can last! 👍
"The incident at Big Buns" sounds like a literary masterpiece. Well played sir!
THIS IS AMAZING. Most zombie-style movies are just as unforgiving.. one bite and your done, so this series is super true to that idea :) lovin' it Glock!
Look at this guy sustaining life even when he knows he probably won't survive the week. If only everyone cared so much about the future.
@@gregorskiff no really?
I care about the future. I could die at any time, but i still planted 3 cats just yesterday.

Why does the "Battle of Big Bunns" sound like a WW2 theatre lol
That was THE most stressful episode of any series I've ever watched from you, but damn it was satisfying to see you survive all that xD
Hey Glock9, I’m sure you get these kinda messages all the time but still wanted to add my own. I’ve recently been told I have stage 3 cancer and have started my various treatments. This is a brilliant series, loving it.
The parkour to avoid the wolf was one of the most impressive things I’ve seen you do Glock.
Man that was pure entertainment.
Agreed. Something to note and do urself. Me included. ^^

A few of the barbed wire thingies (like the ones just outside the trader) would be good too, as they cause slowness & possiblely bleeding.

This is entertainment at it's finest. You got comedy, suspense, horror, cornmeal drama, action, and even adventure.
If Glock started this episode wearing Coal underwear, he'd have a Diamond G-string at the end of the fight with the Spider Zombie.
28:55 I love the delivery on "oh let's use the gun" it's so genuine and funny
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I've never seen you panic so much and I love it. Great series I hope it stays for a long time.
