    Hi, why are you not locking the month?

      @Verdexes  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure which part you mean but you should lock the criteria range especially when you are going to drag the formula to autofill!

    Please explain date wise debit and credit total in two columns and balance in next line.

      Hi! Thank you for watching - this sounds like a new scenario, correct? It would depend on the format of the data that you are working with. Is the data formatted where a column is maybe "Type" and in each row it reflects either "debit" or "credit"? Kind of like in the video above, where the "Item of Sale" column has all the items listed underneath it?

    Hello, do you know how to sumifs 2 different columns on 2 sheets? I have 2 sheets with the same column names but one sheet is C column and one is D column. I can sumifs both sheets with the same column C but not different column.

      If I'm understanding correctly you would just add the two SUMIFS Functions together in the same cell
      Something like this: =SUMIFS(F17:F23,E17:E23,F31)+SUMIFS(J17:J23,I17:I23,F31)
      Test each SUMIFS Function independently first to make sure you're getting the right numbers and help troubleshoot if needed

      it seems when i drag down it moves down a cell, do i use f4 for every criteria range to fix it?

    • @Verdexes

      @@elizabethnguyen8301 Hey! Thanks so much for watching - In the above example the criteria range highlights the entire column, it won't really matter if you lock it in with F4 or not but if you are selecting a specified range (ex: A1 to A23 as opposed to A:A) you will definitely need to lock in with F4. Does that help?

      Yup this helps , I needed to lock the criteria range in place and it worked perfectly after that. Data cleaning is so tough , this really helped speed things up 👍🏻👍🏻

    • @Verdexes
      @Verdexes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Thanks for watching - just to make sure I'm understanding, if for example you're looking at the table at 5:22, you're asking if you can add the sumifs created in Column C to the sumifs created in Column D?

    It was going well until you used $C$2 and started manually amending each formula ... instead of locking only the row (C$2) so as to drag across and fill down.
