In college I knew a Marine Veteran who was in this battle, Sgt. Ed Dolan. He had half an index finger, a plate in his head, and a half finished tattoo on his arm, from when he came to in a tattooist chair, drunk as hell, and ran off. He was a hell of man.
My grandpa was in this war he was part of the frozen chosin and he was at the battle of icheon landing. He was in the 6th Marines if im not mistaken. He's still alive today and has great memories of this war. He never really cared for Thanksgiving because he said that was the day they were attacked. He'll be 93 next year GOD willing.
