I'm from the Central Texas area, very familiar with Belton (one Walmart and two main roads along with access to the dam), almost attended Mary-Hardin Baylor but went to a state school instead. Warms my heart to see their football team winning the D3 championship.
From Austin and went to UNT in Denton and now go up there every so often and it’s nice to see the billboard up all the time. Especially when they won the ship a couple years ago. Always nice to see a school win like you said that’s near you

I love that both teams are allowed to wear colored jerseys. As long as they contrast each other, it shouldn't be mandatory to have the designated away team wear white jerseys.
Started off with BIG GAME NOISES!! KICK RETURN to start it off frm NC then MARY with a TD; but then just dominated the game!! Tackling and tackling points after points!! Congrats to the DIII CHAMPS!! Congrats!!
Congrats CRU. Way to end the longest college football career ever Mr. Aaron Sims!!!!!! King and Sims represent Milam County Texas! Small town football is the real deal!
I wonder if anyone has watched the thumbnail of this video. The RB runs at a speed that meshes up real well with the preview speed, which makes it look like he is running really fast by moving his legs really slow. It is unique to me in this way, I have not seen another video preview where the same effect is present.
People hate on D3... do they match up across the board with D2 & FCS schools... no not even close. But there are handfuls of kids who could play at bigger schools, that do go pro, that literally play at a D3 because they love that school, that school offers their major, or they're over looked. Took me seeing Whitewater up close, coaching at clinics there, recruiting.... Gotta love it.
Kind of ridiculous the size of the players that is it the players that Mary harden Baylor has I mean that's not D3 football prospects those kids look easily like they could be in FCS school. Would love to know what their grade point averages are and if there's any special exemptions for football players at that University academically.
@@cjaythrows well they had one of thier previous titles vacated for ncaa violations. Win anyway you can cause football means more in Texas right. I know what you mean though. They have more to select from down there talent wise and hell if Bailey Zappe can set the single season FBS td and yards records with only one d1 offer and have 0 stars coming out of school it goes to show you plenty of diamond's do get missed.
I’m a freshman at UMHB and a player and we have no exemptions or anything. Coaches are extremely tough on us for grades. On the size of us, we’re just Texas boys. Six of the freshman offensive lineman had D1 offers. We just all chose the best fit
@@Bobbarker23455 Two UMHBs WR's, their starting RB and RT were all either at FBS schools or received multiple offers and ended up there for one reason or another, same thing for a few of the defensive guys. And if you don't think after watching the game highlights that the QB isn't an FBS caliber player we can agree to disagree. This isn't a normal D3 program, that's coming from someone who evaluates talent for a living just FYI. Not trying to stir the pot just giving my take.
@@rustyshackleford1765 yeah most very good d3 team's have a couple Xd1 guys but there is also a reason they are xd1 they are good but just not that good. Lets be real non of these guys are starting at any of the fbs schools. Maybe some of them could make a difference at a fcs school, but no one is a heisman candidate from a d3 school.
was a good season for north central. back to back national championship appearances. proud of this team and I know they will be back again. they may have lost, but they make Chicagoland proud
Glad MH-B won, first of all. However, someone PLEASE tell that broadcast dude that the INT that was "right in his hands", was anywhere but. Maybe if dude had Shaq hands. That ball was badly overthrown and dude barely got finger TIPS on it, let alone actual hands. Anyway, that's my rant, y'all have a good day.
Curious -- how do you think Mary Hardin-Baylor or North Central would do against a garbage div 1 team? I happen to think they'd beat a bad div 1 team. Any thoughts on this?
Realistically they’d probably get blown out even by a bad division 1 team, in the same way that the Detroit Lions would probably blow out Alabama. Even just the difference of size between D3 and D1 would be noticeable, especially in the linemen. That being said, I think they could beat a bad-to-mid D2 team. And it makes sense why the occasionally D3 guy gets drafted, I could see WR #7 on MHB getting drafted
@@porterland2395 A bad div 1 team can be a hot mess while a fine-tuned div 3 team can be a well oiled machine. I think it'd be a pretty good game, but your point is well taken. I know it's apples and oranges but every once in a great while in November exhibition games a div 3 basketball team has beaten a div 1 team. It's rare. Div 1 teams have no incentive to ever play div 3 teams bc they have nothing to win and everything to lose.
@@tylerprassel1213 Interesting. Thanks for the info. That seems to tell me that a fantastic div 3 team could give an awful div 1 team an excellent contest.
Yes, I should have the highlights out sometime today. Tons of football going on today. 10 games in about 10 hours. My focus will be getting the bowl games out as quick as possible. Then I will also be trying to get out the FCS Semi and the D2/NAIA championships. All of them should be out before I go to bed unless I crash
NCAA do these D2 and D3 schools wrong with these stadium selections because why play on a field with Permanent decals on the field I’m sure these schools want their school name in the end zone and something in the middle of the field…it’s messed up to me! And I also feel the same way about some of these bowl games as well!! Smh
Dawg, what? It's a championship game. They got bigger things to worry about than having their team names listed on the endzones. No championship team gives a damn about that stuff.
That penalized hit that was on the QB, that's a penalty the Pac12 refs would call. Are these refs from the Pac12? Would explain how piss poor of a call that was. Fire those refs.
I'll keep on saying it, THANK YOU for posting the other divisions! This is what makes this the best college football channel on TH-cam!
Agree💯

Well deserved title.
The announcer at the end saying "Shaking hands at midfield, I love seeing that..." that's how we roll in D3!

I'm a fan of this policy as well, especially in championship games
@@DiAB0LiST27 said policy should be extended to all levels of football
This may be an exception but I have seen USC and UCLA play each other where it's color vs color jerseys.
@@Golf8802 that's likely the only rivalry with a deal in place for that to happen
Yeah me too, if only happens in D1 for some rivalry games and some championships but mostly in bowl games.

They were a ridiculously good D3 team
As always thanks so much for posting these for the other divisions, I like watching them. Great sound quality by the way.
North Central never adjusted on defense. They let the same trips formation with the #2 wr doing a wheel route catch it THREE times all for first downs
