Not all where true Christians. An understatement . Was a WWider, did see this at all Sabbaths. Those who considered themselves as 'superior' sat directly in front of the stage, then did see them all leave when they split with Worldwide. Came across, did see, some later. They had no signs of GOD shining within them, sadly, but now I understand what I saw.
From my understanding, those who left WCG, left the Protestant dogma/heresy J. Tkach and crew were bringing into the Church. Some of those who left WCG are continuing to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God. I would invite you to study another sermon by Mr. Harold Way, Realistic Perceptions: th-cam.com/video/r9aW9MhhFfU/w-d-xo.html
@@TomorrowsChild77 I did leave Wwide, my wife stopped going, but I continued on for months, then I did, also. Had to ask GOD if this was right, as HE added me in, so only HE could take me out. DID, telling me to 'come out of her', in a dream.. Chose not to go to any of those who left. Found, years later, CBCG. He left before I was added, so, fitted my desires about that.
It seems the world would fall further and further into immorality til it finally culminates into the rise of the BEAST. He steps on the platform and cleans 'em up so to speak.
Timing is everything, so we should note Paul's letters were written well before the Gospels, and in those books Christ said nothing about a "great falling away." When asked, He outlined the events in the later days which would occur, but added they would have relatively no effect on the "Very Elect." Let's pray always that we are one of these 'very' elect." Oh.., that's right.., Paul was out in the desert with the Lord.., (Right?)
Off the top of my head, Jesus did warn His elect of 3 very dangerous things they will have to navigate at the end of the age, concluding that "he who endures to the end shall be saved" (Matthew 24:10-13). One of those things is that we may grow cold from the abounding lawlessness... lawlessness can be defined as rebellion toward God, which is a truer definition of the word apostasy. So, Christ did actually speak of these things... there never be a contradiction in the writings of Paul and the words of his Lord, Jesus Christ.
The 4 gospels were written early, to teach what JESUS taught them. This is well documented, as the NEW TESTAMENT had different teachings, the SPIRITUAL nature required this. To wait for the writings of PAUL would see the church die out.
Great study on this was done. Very helpful
