Great tour! You've obviously taken great care of it over the years, it's in excellent condition! Mine is in the post and should be arriving tomorrow. I love shooting film - every frame is a considered action. I still have my Konica TC-X that my parents bought me in 1992 for going to Greece. Apparently the ME Super is the smallest 35mm SLR film camera ever produced.
If I can find a really good example of this camera I will buy it. Love the tiny size and great Pentax lenses. For me the 35mm f2.8 would be a perfect pairing. Plus I hear it has a big bright view finder.
Right now, the most commonly seen camera are those found in cell phones! But rest assured, MILLIONS of film cameras are still in use around the world! Not only by us "Older Folk" that grew up with them, but by many, many you younger people too. The "Art and Science" of Photography is being "rediscovered" at a phenomenal rate. Even Kodak has had to re-introduce some of it's film and associated products! Just to get in on the gold mine!

I'm just started shooting range cameras again. I want to do long exposures for waterfall scenes I have to use a manual film camera cuz I don't currently on a digital camera that's capable of that.
I have one of those. It is my second film camera. The first being a Spotmatic. I loved how small it is. Took a few good photos with it until the mirror locked up and stuck. I don't use it anymore unfortunately.
When I was in photography class in high school the cameras that were most envied were the Pentax MX, Pentax K1000, and any of the Nikon SLRs. I had an inexpensive Nikon FG that still works perfectly today.
Nice video. Just got one of these today. *Without* film, it always shoots at the same speed (1/250 maybe), even if set to 1/2000 in M. It's like is always shooting at the fallback mechanical speed. Is this normal or do I have a faulty shutter? Thx
Paul Murphy unfortunately not. In Bulb it works as it should, but in Auto with the cap on it just shoots at the same speed every time (seems like 1/125).. A pity really because otherwise it's in mint condition

Krolon Adamast0r sounds like it has a fault repair maybe costly.
check asa setting put the lens cover cap on it it should go very slow or put on b hold shutter only if it holds aperture open it should be alright

yes it may just be the batt or terminals funny how you forget the simple things first lensman is right dont give up
