    Killin. Cool to see oz back in israel tearing it up. Killin rhythm section too. Love that oz digs heavy relic fender custom shop guitars. Cool to hear him on a tele too. When he goes bridge pup, so good.

    Oz never fails to amaze me. He makes a song we’ve heard a million times sound fresh and new.

    Only bald guitarists allowed on this stage? Oz is simply amazing. I was on a hike yesterday listening to Oz on Brett Papa's TH-cam channel as he shared with Tom Bukovac how he thinks as he maneuvers the fretboard like few others. It's a great video. I'm sure if ya search "Oz Noy Tom Bukovac Brett Papa" you'll find it.

    Choice of material is everything. This song was not written by Jaco like a lot of people mistakenly attribute it to. This is a PeeWee Ellis (the JB's horn arranger and Jame's Brown's partner in the polish and sound of the JB's.

      Yes, I learned this only recently whan I had to research it for an arrangement for a high school band I take :-) More credit to James Brown and his band !

    I know Oz is mainly a Strat guy…but I really like the way he sounds using a telecaster. I think it fits him better.

    I think Sean Connery on bass is knocking it out the park while sneaking in the camel riff

    Not bad but Jazz like music sounds like they're just sesrching for the right note to play and hardly ever finding it resorting to playing just Repetitive paterns and Sequences it gets really boring to me real real fast. LOL. JMO

      Wow the last thing jazz is is repetitive, I don’t know what you have been listening to but it sure ain’t Jazz?!

    • @jaxone1259
      @jaxone1259 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fusionfan6883 it's the guitar patterns and sequences that are repetitive ... It's being done constantly like a finger pattern of say 1324-1324 where only the 1 follows the scale note and the 324: are played automatically immediately after that, all over the neck it's extremely repetitive ... Al DeMiola does it constantly I noticed it a lot in Jazz Guitar.. Listen for it or better yet watch for it. It is good to practice it but to play exercise patterns as a solo is monotonous / Repetitive / Boring to me JMO
