Test of Resolve Rules Review

Test of Resolve is a set of rules designed for refighting the dynastic struggle in England between 1455 and 1487, known as The Wars of the Roses. This is a card-driven system which produces exciting and unpredictable tabletop conflicts.

Nice in depth review Lee. It always helps when the reviewer "knows" the game. Had quite a few games of these and now have the HYW set. Cracking set of period specific rules!

Agreed, they work real well for this period. I'll be bringing the rules back to the Rejects Shed-o-War next month with a What-if Bosworth variation.

A big fan of the rules also, helped test play the 100 years war version that has just been released too.

Have these rules. Inspired after playing a demo game at Carronade a few years ago. Always seek the guys out for a game at a show they are at. Seem to be inspired by Piquet, one of my favourite systems. In the middle of sorting out my 15mm DBA armies so that I can play the rules, easy enough to do.
