Can’t confirm if it’s true. But I saw a Reddit story from a teenager where a Karen tried to kidnap her. Though it was unclear if the Karen realized that what she was trying to do was considered kidnapping. If I remember correctly it was at an airport, the teen was flying alone. You can fly alone at a certain age without a parental guardian. Karen stuck her nose in the teens business, wouldn’t leave her alone. She tried to convince the teen to get in the plane with her, different plane from the one the teen was supposed to get on. Teen got the flight attendants involved and the situation was dealt with. Don’t remember anymore details. Saw another story where a lesbian couple had a little kid and a homophobic neighbor. Neighbor kidnapped the kid from daycare, took the kid to her house. This woman had a son herself. Again, cannot confirm that these stories actually happened. But truthfully, I could believe that these or similar situations can and would happen. To all entitled people. Kidnapping anyone is a crime. Doesn’t matter if you think the parents or guardian are unfit to take care of the child, it will never give you the right to kidnap a child. If you truly think the parents are abusing or neglecting a child though, you call the police. And that is ONLY if you think the child is being abused or neglected by the parents. Neither the parents race, sexuality, gender, religion, ethnicity, or health, mean that the child is being abused or neglected. They are innocent, you are a criminal. Know the difference.
