VELVET SUMMER BUCKS! Where The Heck Do They GO? Today Dave & Chris discuss Summer bucks and where the heck do they go when hunting season starts. Its always been interesting that you can have all these bucks on trail camera during the summer but soon as hunting season starts they seem to vanish. From what I saw on a quick search, and we’ll hear more and more over time, but they seem to be banning all cams on public land and cell cams statewide.
I didn’t see a handy link to Iowa DNR to confirm. This was as of April this year. This is definitely trending. Me personally, it’s not going to hurt me too bad if it comes to my state. Our wildlife agency isn’t to highly thought of by a majority of the hunters and fishermen, so it will likely be here some day.
