Rightly said, sentiments aside, as a consumer we should choose based on value. Currently, there's nothing in our country in this price range that offers more than Atto 3 while being reliable. From mines to cars the entire stack of EVs is in the hands of China even beating the US, that we have to accept and commend. We have to learn how they have achieved this rather than passing judgment and do the same thing here in India. I really hope Ather and OLA give their all and succeed and eventually start developing 4-wheelers. From what I have seen is, EV is a very tough thing to crack for traditional players, it needs a lot of reengineering and out-of-the-box thinking. I bought this car recently with the main intention of having driving comfort. But I am regretting it now due to the following reasons. 1. My back is sweating if I drive the car even for 1 hour and there is no use even if I turn on full AC. I am feeling very uncomfortable to drive after an hour and long drives might cause even more discomfort to me. This defeats the very purpose of my buying this car. 2. I recently dashed another car slightly during a traffic jam. The car's technology did not apply automatic break although it was claimed so by the company. So, the safety has become a concern now. 3. BYD's roadside assistance is very basic as the customer has to pay for any damage that happens during towing. In my case, I was asked to pay around 3.5 lakhs for towing damages. Because the insurance pays only for accidental damage but not for the towing damage. So, I am made responsible for the damage caused by BYD. I did not even complete my first 1000 km. I am now wondering what I gained by buying this car. ...
One of the best ev at present . The very positive point of BYD is it’s blade battery , range above 400 + , premium & unique interiors & price within the reach for people to purchase . Colours r too very soothing for eyes especially its green 1 .

I must say, this is the best review/ customer feedback I have watched. I have been researching about BYD since last 4-5 months but loved this video. Can you connect me to the owner as I have some queries which he can only answer.
I don`t think there`s any issue over buying a Chinese product. We shouldn`t mix politics with Automobile industry infact we have commercial flight to Hong-Kong and including Bejing. But question stands that BYD is a new company so its aftersales do matter. For example: Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Toyota have a quick roadside assistance specially when we travel long distances to villages so spare parts of the these companies are easily available on road whereas its a big question with BYD.
