I watched this drumeo on the premier and it was really crazy to see 8k other people in the chat watching at the same time at 8am. He’s phenomenal. I don’t care what anyone else says. He makes it look effortless and his skill is incredible. That’s a hill I will die on. I can’t wait for the next part! ❤ Another day and another like. 😊

YAY glad you're getting to this one. You asked about the trigger bars he's got around the kit - they're usually set up to hug the rim of the drum, that's why they're shaped in a curve and often hard to see from the audience. So you may not be able to tell when someone is using them. Some don't like to use them against the drum because they can be in the way. It's just another tool to turn your acoustic set into a hybrid. He's got the sampling pad to his left, which he uses as well, but he may like having something out in the line of play vs having to twist to play the pads every time.

I lost count how many times I have watched this now. I love the fact he is on his own musical journey 🥁😍& for the 1st time I actually understand some of the art of drumming. Even fancy having a go myself. Love his head bobbing between bashes to keep in the rhythm 🤩🤣🤣

I'm a hybrid drummer i use pads with my kit. This dude makes me cry he's so good.
David Whatsisname from Korn had an 808 pad situated similarly to II, which he used primarily for 'Blind' and 'Ball Tongue'.
