Good video . I kayak on lake Erie in Ohio. The kind of current and wave conditions are different for me. I hope to get to paddle on a tide race someday. I'm sure it's very different then what I am use to. I'm interested in taking classes, however, due to the ACA hate for Greenland paddles, I won't waste my time. I only paddle with Greenland paddles, I started off with a euro blade, but it now resides as a backup paddle.
Why does the ACA classes not offer instruction with Greenland paddles? I kayak in pretty rough stuff, and would love instruction from someone who can instruct with Greenland paddles. I would also prefer private classes. I don't like big groups. I'm a solo kind of guy.
ah, the ol' Greenland religious fanatics, they are lurking and waiting to pounce in any video involving a sea kayak. i'm glad you have seen the light and found 'the way' of your superior paddle. you are truly the elite and we bow down to you almighty stick paddlers.
Don't exaggerate your downstream lean when you enter a current flow. Make sure you can do a roll comfortably. Have fun safely.

Como sabrás originalmente se le llamó Boca de Flon, por sus primeros descubridores, españoles. Luego pasaron los ingleses y se quedaron decepcionados porque iban con una idea y vieron que no era así, de ahí Deception Pass

Wow you sure didn't pay attention did you. First off, Anacortes is hardly a "tiny village". Second, Deception Pass does not separate the Strait of Juan de Fuca from Puget Sound. Deception Pass separates Fidalgo Island (where Anacortes is and connection to the mainland) with Whidbey Island. The west side of the pass is the Strait and Puget Sound and the East side is Skagit Bay and the Skagit river Delta. Also on the East side is Camano Island. If your going to tout yourself as a professional then pay attention when people tell you about this area and present it accurately.
OK , and what kind of income, job , you have to have to be able to afford this activity? Travel , equipment, instructions....and more .
