- As results for the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections come in, we look at the process through which EVM votes are counted and how EVMs have majorly expedited the process of vote counting.Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) have fundamentally altered the process of vote counting in India. Unlike ballot papers, EVMs do not necessitate a counting supervisor or assistant to individually tally all ballot papers. Rather, the machines themselves provide a tallied number of votes lodged on them. As results come in for Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh state assemblies, we take a look at how votes are counted on EVMs.

EVM should not be connected to any other machines via cable or wifi. By my idea :- all political party should sit at a town hall and there will be a 70mm screen. And one by one EVM should be brought to a table fitted with camera. One simple guy will enter all data to website one by one and everybody will keep check at 70mm screen and also at DD1 channel and also at internet Live. This is called actual EVM counting.

15:03 With all due respect to the teacher, I understand that it might have been an unintentional error, but she gave the meaning of "speaking order" as an oral order 🤦♂️. Pathfinder channel should ensure only qualified and knowledgeable teachers present the content on the channel. Aspirants trust the teachers and if by any chance they recall vaguely this explanation in any exam, they'll lose marks because of a mistake which was not their own.
