The man kept saying it must be sad..like why?its natural for people to get old and wrinkly, and he actually thought that one actress had a double eyelid surgery?thats so funny coz most filipinos are really not into cosmetic/plastic surgery especially back then..
I was actually thinking the same thing. These veteran actors and actresses, esp those who are still alive, embrace aging and do not resort to cosmetic surgery. As a Filipino who grew up watching them, I couldn't be prouder of how they enjoy life, embrace aging and many still continue to do their craft despite their old age - it's inspiring to keep pursuing what you love to do and live life to the fullest, regardless of your age!
your right...this maybe a little offensive so im sorry to koreans but im proud that this veteran actors are so naturally beautiful that they didnt need any procedure to make them beautiful..but you cant blame this koreans for thinking that our actors did some modifications coz its normal in korea not only to celebrities but even the regular people do that(plastic surgery) to look good.i mean, theres nothing wrong with that if you really wanna look good and you have the money for it then go for it
Many of these artists continue to do what they love to do - acting, singing, directing, etc. Many Filipinos look up to a lot of them (minus the corrupt politicians, but that's another story!) and take inspiration from their lives and their artistry. Just because they are old and wrinkly doesn't mean they should stop doing what they're passionate about. Also, while looks may matter to some celebrities, the thing that I appreciate a lot is talent is celebrated more than physical appearance. One's looks will naturally change due to aging but this shouldn't stop you from pursuing your dreams or doing what you love to do; instead, we should embrace aging (which also equates to life learnings, lessons and experience) and imperfections (wrinkles, fine lines, grey hair, etc.). These personalities seem to be happy, love life and enjoy their lives -- far better examples and inspirations than people who "look perfect" but constantly go under the knife in pursuit of perfection but, deep inside, have very low self-esteem and sad.
i don't know why he kept saying aging must be sad. it's a part of life. makes me think that it's a reflection of his own fear. i didn't know that being conscious of your looks and beauty standards in Korea also affects old ppl. no wonder why young ppl are ao desperate to look perfect that they feel the need to get surgery. it's too ingrained in their culture. that's what's sad, Mr. Kwanghee.
Because there is sadness in aging. You can't do anymore the things you always do when you're younger. I for one cannot run with my dogs anymore because of my failing leg.
Those old actors now have several grandkids who are also in showbiz. Anyway, you have managed to make a unique Korean reaction content with this. Good job!
You could have also Included Amalia Fuentes ( Who is like the Filipino Elizabeth Tayloy and both coincidentally died at 79) and Nida Blanca ( Who got sadly got killed at 65 but she was known as the Taray Queen in acting )
That was entertaining, it was so interesting to know all those old celebrities. It would be nice to do this again and do Vilma, Nora, Sharon, Gabby or Tirso, etc,.
I hope you made a part 2?where FPJ(Fernado Poe Jr),Lito lapid,Tirso Curz III, Christopher de leon,Ricardo Cepeda,Eddie Garcia and Albert Martinez are included.
You should add in the selection our king of comedy dolphy, the king of Philippine movie FPJ, luo diamond phillips, reggie lee, rico yan, and queen of rock and roll elizabeth ramsay .
Who ever had idea to made this, I'd never knew this was gonna be such interesting. But I guess, you don't really need racial distinction to be able to tell what kind of role actors do in their past.
not really, those actors were always playing the lead roles. i think in korea, the people who look intimidating are made into lead characters while in the philippines the friendly-looking ones are made into lead characters thats why they said some of them look like they play the supporting role.
i would want to see Korean actors and actresses like those ages too, 70 to 90. young to old. why don't you make a content about it? instead of Filipinos only.
This is very interesting to me. The Filipinos seem to like the White looking mestizas but not the Asian looking mestizas. Very much a colonial mentality. Sad.
@@prrnce5078 for you not necessary because you already know, they were implying she have western looks and also Filipinos don't look like Caucasians. your comment is quite unnecessary honesty 🙂 if you missed my point just stfu
why does someone need to mention that. does that elevate them than the rest of filipinos? whats your intention. theyre all filipinos. theyve been filipinos even before filipino as a nationality became official.

Thats way too far. You could have introduced actors/actresses born in 70's or 80's. I bet they know Nora Aunor because of Himala. I don't know if thats true that Himala is known all over Asia that time.
Why sad to get old they were famous n had very colorful life to be sad is not to know how to accept u will grow old n keep operating ur face n body to stop.n conceal ugliness imperfection n age it's nice to see ur true face n body n not seeing like mannequin or a doll or a fake you Infront of mirror

youth is business to them. Beautiful faces are the first ones to get hired
True this people they are criticizing are naturally good looking. And this 2 look very ordinary
It also must be sad for him when he age😅

I agree
I second. 😅

He is saying that bec many in the pics aged badly for him and others

Kakaiba talaga ang mga actors and actresses dati. I am surprised ang pogi pala ni Erap nung kabataan nya 😅
You could have also Included Amalia Fuentes ( Who is like the Filipino Elizabeth Tayloy and both coincidentally died at 79) and Nida Blanca ( Who got sadly got killed at 65 but she was known as the Taray Queen in acting )
Nice content...old actresses/actors. Let's appreciate our elders of entertainment.
that the real beauty no chemical added..😭in 80's 90's
Pilita Corrales is an international singer well known in the US
The lady reactor looks like a Filipina veteran actress here named Dexter Doria.😊
Haha sakto
Filipinos love their natural beauty and don't need surgery or something.
2:42 we Filipinos have natural double eyelid... We're not east asians lol... Eyelid surgery is not a big deal here
Why do you sound so butthurt lol, I really hate the way Filipinos easily get triggered
That is not true for all Filipinos though. Some have smaller eyes.
Men just age like fine wine😂. They always go from that Elvis Presly look to a retired Mafia boss look🤣 . Young Pilita Corrales tho🤩

No plastic surgery with the Filipino actors.

Gloria Romero was so beautiful
Next time you should include Da King Fernando Poe Jr. Eddie GARCIA, and Paquito Diaz😊
They are so cute reactors.. 🤩🤩🤩
The young "Delia Razon" is very pretty, her face resembles "Sarah Lahbati" ♥️♥️♥️
Good insights
Bat parang familiar ang Korean Actress na yan? San ko siya napanuod? Hehe

Yeah, let's all age well.
1:56 she said she looks familiar to her, I think she actually look like her lol

Erap Estrada is also known as father of thieves here in the philippines
that title goes to ferdinand marcos sr.
The old man is agist.
*Most of them have aged well. It's only that good photos of them in old age aren't easy to come by.*
Judgemental episode😅
I bet these two look like they are now when they were in their twenties or so...😁
Some Filipinos are mixed of Spanish decent
That Korean woman in the video looks like Dexter Doria

filipinos have been following western fashion since the 1700s.
