When I was suffering from Derealization for 5 months a few years ago, this was literally the ONLY video that would bring me comfort and make me feel a bit more normal again. So thank you for this. It comforted me then and still does to this day.

My comfort place is Watertown NewYork. I spent some of the best years of my life there. We always had so much snow. It was beautiful and wonderful. My children would play outside most of the day. Slidding down the park hills. Those memories comfort me. I'm 76 now. I lost my son in a car accident and my girls are grown and on their own. These are the memories I hold dear to my heart. Thank you for the sights and sounds. God bless
Yappy Raccoon i read that their feet are generally relatively cold, so they dont notice much of a difference in the snow and ice. I thought about this a lot and finally looked it up. This was for geese though, im not sure if it applies to ducks as well.

I find myself living in a house next door to the worst neighbors that have ever existed. Out of desperation to drown out their noise, I discovered these on you tube. i feel for you Lacey, that is not a nice thing to happen. I have heard with the rise of things like AirBnB that many quiet residential areas are being destroyed. I had no idea when I created this channel how much need there was for these videos. From what I can see the need, unfortunately, seems to be growing. I suggest either earphones at night or a couple of reasonable speakers with the volume just loud enough to block out the people next door. I really feel sorry for you, it's sometimes a pretty helpless situation for people such as yourself. I am delighted for your sake that you discovered these videos and can now take a little of that power back. I am making new videos everyday now, so that there should always be something new, if you feel like a change. Actually i find it a little bit exciting when bedtime comes trying to decide what i will try for the night. Additionally, you can also use them for noise blocking anytime, sometimes students use them for study for that very reason also. I have many people in our community that use them for stress, anxiety, ptsd, insomnia, tinnitus, to name just a few. Even new mothers often use to help their babies get to sleep. Anyway, I hope the people next door come to their senses and remember they share the area with other people too.
Hi Lacy, I've also had a sleeping problem since I was a child. I've refused to take any kind of drugs. To make matters worse, I live in on on the 2nd story of an 8 story condo building with people who don't know what respect for others even means. The busy business right next door to me is noisy all the time with delivery trucks and garbage trucks, and loud people. I'm close to the street and sidewalks. My building is located in the middle of downtown traffic in Salt Lake City. Like you, I discovered that all the videos I listen to not only to help me sleep, but to help me stay sane, were created by the same person-The Relaxed Guy. I not only listen to them at night, but during the day when I'm home. I love the sound of rain. Utah is a desert. When it rains, even for a few minutes, I go crazy with happiness. Because I'm so sensitive to sound, videos can't be just any rain sound.. His videos are perfection. Where I live is void of any nature. Not a bird or butterfly. So I also greatly enjoy the visual presentations of nature that the Relaxed Guy provides. This one is especially beautiful.

What a special spot. Absolutely love it and the snow. The birds make it extra special. I see a crow at the beginning and then some rock pigeons going to the same spot... I wonder if there is a bird feeder there to draw them in? The ducks are a special touch too.

I have pretty bad anxiety, depression & OCD, that has been amplified by the bad situation next door. I am 10 months into a one year lease, & will already have to be moving once it is up due to the neighbors. I have barely just finished unpacking & making this my home & now have to start packing it all up again. Caring people like you, are much needed in this world. I want you to know that your hard work is not in vain, & that what you do means a great deal to me!

Those ducks are having such a good party, gliding, dipping,,racing, floating by, creating stream waves as they zoom by, they make it look so easy. Such a good, amazing scene. That’s so true most of them put this ridiculous howling wind in. I like just recording what there is and sharing.. most channels now don’t even go out and record. They just download sound effects and mix them together because it’s quick and easy
I use this as a background for studying, with Animal Crossing or chill music on another tab on a low volume. I love it. This is one of my very favourites. Love seeing the happy animals everytime I look up from the paper.
Living in Florida for a while I miss seeing snow on the ground like I used to in Pennsylvania in the winter I miss playing with my cousins and 🛷 sledding on the ground I miss Christmas it's my favorite holiday

Hi Christina, I did have a version with music, but I had to release the natural version as it was so nice. I do have quite a large following that love music, but there are so many that also like the natural sounds. My only solution is to try and make 2 versions, its a lot of extra work but hopefully worth it. Anyway glad you are enjjoying it Christina

That’s so true most of them put this ridiculous howling wind in. I like just recording what there is and sharing.. most channels now don’t even go out and record. They just download sound effects and mix them together because it’s quick and easy

I use this as a background for studying, with Animal Crossing or chill music on another tab on a low volume. I love it. This is one of my very favourites. Love seeing the happy animals everytime I look up from the paper.

Hi Christina, I did have a version with music, but I had to release the natural version as it was so nice. I do have quite a large following that love music, but there are so many that also like the natural sounds. My only solution is to try and make 2 versions, its a lot of extra work but hopefully worth it. Anyway glad you are enjjoying it Christina
