      @@robertsmith4714 Brianna is 19 so she is still eligible for world u20s. However, her coach said she'll only be doing senior meets now, so she won't be defending her titles. Also, she did senior trials rather than junior in Jamaica so the opportunity has already passed.

    From this group. Brianna Williams is the only one who has so far transitioned successfully as a senior athlete. She came 4th at Jamaica's National Championship and was the lead-off runner for the Gold Medal winning Jamaica 4x100 M relay team at this year's Olympics.

      Do your research well Awuah and Kwadjo of GB 🇬🇧 and Germany 🇩🇪 respectively is running since 2018; in so many events like the championships. It’s only Tokyo that you saw Brianna in a major event

      Terry has been doing well on the college scene so far, and she will, likely transcend that college dominance to the senior level next year. Hopefully she can be one of America's new stars, I always liked her and Briana's rivalry. She has quite a few newcomers to compete with in America tho, shacarri, cambria, Tamara Clarke, tamari Davis, etc.

    That's a little SFP right there. That start/drive phase gave her the race. Girl in second got top end like a v12 on the highway. She is closing hard. Jamaica got Elaine and Jackson to cover for the top end while Williams gets older and faster.

    Williams is such ah good starter! Focussed, head down with a great drive. She reminds me of Shelly Ann. If Terry had her start, she probably would have won. TeamJA!

      Her start is brilliant man! She did so very well at the Olympic. It was the baton changes that messed them up which they evidently need to sort out. Her start was phenomenal which could have gotten them a WR

      Not sure if it’s the genes or just that from we are in basic school ( that’s from age 3-6) we have sports day every year more like athletic day. This continues throughout your schooling, if it’s something you’re good at. It’s a cheap way of doing sports, as not everyone can afford gymnastics or swimming training. We like to think it’s a combination though, plus most of us are told to run go do this or that, by our parents when they send us out in the neighborhood.

    I've seen some comments from various forums with people saying short legs can't run fast. Both Shelly Ann and Briana proved them wrong!

    Wow… both ladies did well this season, but Brianna has the upper edge. Brianna is now an Olympics gold medalist, she also did ran a few good sub 11 since this event, like ten sub 11’s. TT also did amazingly well for her school this season too, can’t wait to see them both killing it for the country’s respectively.
