Hey Guys! After further review I decided to lower my rating of Defy Me to 3 stars. Looking back there were just too many problems I had and I didn’t feel like it was worthy of four stars.

JULIETTE FOREVER!! same its so weird operation synthesis like the fact thats it not planned from the beginning is like asdjkl "i was not expecting the fish from the shape of water" HAHAAHADAKLJAFKL
1. I still haven’t watched you vid but I’m getting to it and I’m sorry😭💓 2. EXACTLY like this “Ella” chick?? We don’t know her😂 3. SKSKSKS Yeah I’m still not buying Operation Synthesis but I guess this random plot is the price for “Aaronella” content 💀
thefaereader hmmm I kinda wish we would’ve saw it okay out more but it was immediately DEBUNKED which I get but also seeing Emmaline kinda kick some serious ass before she dies would’ve also been cool 💀😂
A lot of people really dislike this book and I disagree, I find it a very enjoyable read and honestly I'm really only interested in the characters and drama anyways and this book delivers a _bunch_ of drama so I'm set. What I dislike is the fact that they change our main characters name. Every time someone calls Juliette Ella I'm just inwardly screaming IT'S JULIETTE. Idk that's a big pet peeve for me especially since Juliette fit her so well. But Ella? Tf is that?
Well im happy you enjoyed this book! I know what its like to enjoy a book so much and everyone else seems to despise it, so I'm sorry I'm with that group on this one :/. That being said, im happy you also hate the whole "Ella" thing because Tahereh was really trippin with that one lol.
I agree with so much. I felt the characters were more 'out of character' in Restore Me cause I think Tahereh was kinda getting to know them again, but Defy Me was way way better. I did love the plane reunion scene idk maybe its just me. BUTTTT WHAT ABOUT KENJIIII!? Any thoughts on like Nazeera and Kenji?
Tahira Rajwani thanks for the response💓 I liked the reunion too but with all the feelings going on prior it just felt a little lackluster lol (plus him calling her Ella first thing turned me off) I liked Kenji’s pov but I wish it was more than him just gawking at Nazeera. He was almost unbearably corny at times lol. I do like him and Nazeera though, but I just hope she doesn’t become his whole story.
Just Aaryn, I completely get that. Him using Ella in that scene made me squirm. In terms of Kenji I understand where youre coming from. him gawking a Nazeera did make up like 75% of his POV. But i think it was just nice to see him again, I mean his banter and his relationship with Warner and just getting to be happy in his own little romance for the first time.
Tahira Rajwani oh definitely! I will always love Kenji, and I didn’t mean to make it seem like otherwise😅and I also love for Warner-Kenji banter, can’t wait for them to finally admit they’re bros 😂
I LOVE your energy and positive vibe so much! It made watching the video go by so quickly, and I was laughing so hard when you did the flashback to apologize to Emmaline. Definitely subscribing!

Loved Defy Me tho! But I feel you girl !

I just kept nodding constantly to everything you said, because it's SPOT ON! Also, I agree that the letter opener scene was iconic haha
I’m happy to see someone relates so much💓 and yes, that letter opener scene was what TRULY saved the book for me lol
