Good geoff!! Desert is master hard mode!! Congratulations and thankyou for ALL In Brasil much acres in development desert area because fire Forest and cow animal
To me this doesn't make complete sense considering deserts are actually increasing and encroaching upon non desert land. Plus a lot of deserts haven't always been deserts but lush ecosystems, and human activity has also caused desertification. Sure some deserts have been that way for millions of years and have a somewhat thriving desert ecosystem, but I would say it is actually very important to try and change the desert climate to restore the optimal ecosystem of the area.
The sun drives climate, however forests buffer the weather significantly compared to deserts, if nothing but the swing from daytime high to nighttime low. How much forest can regrow depends in part on water availability and conservation. And so on. But my point is if the choice is between camping out in the desert for a living or trying that in a forest, I'd pick the desert to make it forest. And I live in where it's a fourth cut toothpick plantation interspersed with reasonably natural young forest.
