College is over! I graduated this last saturday :,) I'm so happy! Thanks for giving me time to graduate! I ended up getting ALL A'S which is normal, but in light of the virus I've been so stressed I expected all B's. So yay!

This grad season for me is really stinky, my school isn't even giving us a virtual graduation so I'm :( also, my girl you are a grown adult, even if you did spend your own money on these plants, it's your money! Rock on! For me, plants make me happy in a time that I am really down, and I don't think others should be judging you for what you choose to spend your own money on. Especially right now. Love the videos!

You dont have to explain where you get your money from to buy plants you love, just go for it if it makes you feel good, lucky find on that hindu, I'm scared of them cause Iv never had luck. I havnt left the house in so long cause I have health issues and immune issues so its scary and I'm finding it so hard to see people even with flimsy masks out and about at this stage of the virus.

I got my pilea for $6 at Trader Joe’s! And she’s doing fab! She has a ton of babies!
Congrats on graduating...hard work pays off! Also I installed a bar in front my window to hang my hoyas and i love it. I had to go back and get a 2 inch metal rod as the wooden one was bending. My dad also chimed in and advised I use the closet rod bracket so it hangs away from the window about a foot and I have the option of adding a shelf later. Love the elec humidifiers more than Levoit. It’s like they corrected all the levoit issues.

Other commenters have said this, but nobody should be giving a negative opinion on whether you buy plants or don't.
To those saying it's hypocritical or in bad taste to ask for patrons: other creators ask for patrons on Patreon all the time while buying silly gadgets and useless products to test and review (reviewing Amazon product lists, testing 5 Minute Crafts videos, and store-specific hauls, for example). While I enjoy watching those videos, too, I think it makes MORE sense that a plant TH-camr would be buying plants, and it's not wasteful because plant channels actually maintain and care for the products they buy. There is absolutely no disconnect for me here in buying plants and asking for supporters on Patreon.
For the record, once I have a reliable income again, I fully intend to become a Patron. I believe in supporting creators.

It's unknown for how long the virus stays on plants btw. So if someone infected was in contact with the plants you end up getting or just touch you're at risk of getting sick

Ngl im a little peeved at some of you being like “shes not wearing a mask!!” YES I DID THE ENTIRE VIDEO except lowes because it was emptyyyyy. Also, cloths masks dont protect you from covid like n95 masks. Covid gets thru them. The only reason masks help is if YOU are coughing or sneezing bc it limits the reach of *your* droplets. ALSO, its different here in idaho. Weve had 2000 cases and 1800 have recovered. 90 deaths in the state and that means theres only about 110 ppl who actually have it **in the entire state of idaho**. Almost no one is contracting the virus here anymore. Our city had a soft open on the 1st and all business open on the 16 bc its safe now. We dont have 200k cases like in newyork or 60k cases like caifornia. Were okay out here, so thank you for being concerned, im sorry i didnt wear a mask there, but life here is pretty much back to normal and no one here is getting the virus because we took such drastic action in the beginning. I love you guys but you gotta understand not all states have it as bad as NYC and California :(

There's only been 13 cases in my county and my husband and I wear masks whenever we go out and about. Wearing a cloth mask isn't about protecting yourself, it's about stopping the spread if you do have it and are asymptomatic. Y'know, since widespread testing STILL isn't available. As stuff keeps opening up, these simple measures are what's going to keep another massive spike in cases from happening.
I guess what I'm saying is good for you for wearing your mask! I love the pattern on it as well!

I don't wear a mask because i refuse to inhale the carbon dioxide and restrict proper oxygen flow.It is unhealthy to keep inhaling your carbon dioxide and restricting proper oxygen flow amongst many other things! Who cares what people think, you won't catch me wearing one.

Love that Compacta! I just received mine today but it's the tiniest cutting, but I still love it! I'm putting up a curtain rod too! Except I'm hanging mine from the ceiling because I have shelves in my windows so it needs to be about 2 ft off the wall. I'm excited to see yours when you and your dad get it up! Can't wait for that video!

Unfortunately I am forced to live with them because of financial and health problems. But I can hide some plants from them! I have faith that someday I will have my house and I will have a house full of plants like Ashley! I need to believe!

Last time I went to NEON (end of March, I think) they told me that they didn't have enough staff to keep up on the plant care for the indoor plants. They were all in pretty rough shape. :( I'm guessing it has been easier for them to not order more plants right now when they can't allow a very big demand on them.
I sure hope things chill soon. This was supposed to be my plant thriving year.

How do u guys not have masks on?
BabyNicosMommy there was no one in lowes besides us so we felt it was okay to not wear em. The masks dont keep you from getting the virus bc the virus is too small: it keep your sneeze and cough droplets from flying all over other people. The other places required masks, but none of us were sneezing or coughing so mask or no mask, it does the same thing. Now if we had n95 masks that would b different, but all of us only have acess to cloth masks :(
Plant Me Ashley there are filters you can buy for the cloth masks. Several different types with various layers that protect more than only cloth. I’m also in the dc area. No one here goes outside without a mask. Even to walk their dogs.

In my town in Pennsylvania they will not let you buy anything, if you don’t have a mask on. Signs are posted on every door and I have seen them ask ppl to leave. Not an opinion......it’s just the way it is now.🌿🍃✌🏻❤️
