Caitlin has an endearing way of saying the word basketball: "bass-ball" (she leaves out the middle syllable) She plays the game with a fast pace, she says the word with a fast pace too. 😝
I love it too. It's like she's too tired to pronounce the middle part.
Yep. She says that all the time! Lol!
Middle west up bringing my parents are Iowans & do it especially when talking about Caitlin. I thought it funny when in her introduction to the fever presser the day or two after the draft clark made the comment " It's a small city & people may think I'm crazy but it's still the middle west & that's where I was raised & what I'm comfortable with who I am". Something to that affect. My point was to highlight her own reference to mid west upbring & lifestyle. It's not for everyone but it's special. Its funny I was born & raised in California lived my whole life but prefer the mid-west lifestyle & can always tell a difference. Clark I don't expect to go running out & buy a bunch of homes & yachts & sports cars like most players entertainers & recent lotto winners would do. I'm sure she'll bling up a bit she could afford to spend a little but I'm sure she wont over do it & go broke in a year or after retirement like most athletes especially male ones. Real Estate is great but always fluctuating especially around bigger cities even Indianapolis.
Her poise is amazing for a person of her age. What an amazing young woman.
Poise for her age? She's frickin 22 ?? A grown woman
Right? Just 22. Think about that.
Some grown folks never mature, she is mature for 22. She herself talks about the fact she's still learning. If she keeps going she'll be even more awesome.
@@anthonytaylor7928Thank you. The hype is unbelievable.
Once in a generational player. She is built for this moment. Great personality. Let’s go Fever 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Can't wait to watch Caitlin play as pro❤
Did u say that about Maya Moore or aja Wilson??
It sure is going to be fun. Hope you're able to make it to a game.
@@anthonytaylor7928every time someone says something about Clark, they need to make sure to include a few other names too? Gtfoh😂
Iowa had a great transition offense. Caitlin was the catalyst.
And watch this video from practice - th-cam.com/video/aEi96wYQNdw/w-d-xo.html - they're going to be run a lot and be in great condition. Defense is also a big emphasis.
If Caitlin can't get this WNBA moving forward - they should CLOSE SHOP. She is GREAT
She did more in the past two months before signing a contract than any player before her. Selling out arenas, jersey sales, a Nike deal, etc. No reason to believe it won't continue.
@@ScottAgness I agree . She is a Great Player and person . Wishing her great success. the college game is a delightful expierence for these women. Pros is a different story . Only Caitlin can SAVE this League ( I think)
In love with caitlin 😊
Shout out 2 Caitlin 4 being a gamer 🎮
I thought that was interesting. It was my question, trying to gain a better understanding of who she is out of the spotlight and at home.
I hope that she's doing this after practice interview because she wants to. Hopefully she'll be given the time and privacy to learn with her teammates and develop on and off the court.
She's doing it because it's mandated. Part of being a pro. She's not the only one. The head coach and Aliyah Boston, last year's No. 1 pick, also talked after the first practice. And I'm sure they'll try to spread it out so she's not talking daily. But this is part of it.
Caitlin is a carbon copy of Kristin Stewart as Bella in the Twilight series. Check it out for real. It's astonishing the resemblance.
I had to watch it again to see. You made an amazing observation of uncanny truth. Her mannerisms & voice are right on with Kristen Stewart!
Okay everyone let's all see how well ronscorner's comments age. He thinks Clark will be a back up! What a joke. As soon as the other players learn to realize how amazing Clark's skills are, and that she elevates all her teammates' games, they will be thrilled to let her run the points, and will look to her to outlet rebounds to as often as possible. She is the master at involving everyone in the offense, and players learn to adore playing with her, as happened at Iowa. Face reality ronscorner, this is Caitlin Clark's world and we're all fortunate to be part of it.
Let’s go!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Kickin' butt!!! Go Caitlin!!!! ❤
They are going to use her more as a 2 over a 1, her ability the spread the floor was what the fever needed most, they will still try to run the offense through Boston but her threat will make it hard to collapse the defense on the inside.
I'll be curious to see. Her playing more off the ball was my initial takeaway from Day 1. But it's just Day 1.
Let's go Aces. Aja' Wilson is the beast of the WNBA.
pre-season trolling huh. Already fired up for a new year! Assistant coach Tyler Marsh is good people.
Aces rock!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
I watched the practice video and I never saw an inbound pass going to Clark. Seems she likes to advance it down the court faster than I saw in video. Apparently head coach didn't pay as much attention to Clarks NCAA games as she claimed.
I wouldn't read too much into her first practice, what they ask of her and what she does. For instance, Kelsey Mitchell is currently out but will certainly be in the starting lineup.
She looks happy
agreed. New phase of her life -- that's fun and interesting. And she's grateful
I love ♥️🙏🏻will to get it.done
when will be her 1st game ?
i know she'll do great
4:34 wait she's so cute
First preseason game is on Friday. Opening night is on May 14. www.fieldhousefiles.com/p/pacers-had-caitlin-clark-rev-it-up-before-game-3
💪💪💪
Go Fever
Who is Steve?
security assigned to her by the team
@@ScottAgness Thanks.
Next year she'll be unstoppable after learning through this season.
Raven Johnson is coming back for her when she's finished at South Carolina.😂😂😂
Is it just me or did Aliyah Boston seem less than ecstatic about Caitlin joining the team?
Hope not. Obviously, Caitlin is the star. So they're going to have to deal with it.
@@marksauce2383 Caitlin seems to be cognsizant of the effect of the attention she’s getting and it’s effect of Boston. That’s why every time she talks of passing to Boston and how good she is. I hope the team has a conversation with Aliyah. The hype, the media attention and to boot the biggest ever shoe deals in women’s BB is kinda in their face all the time. But yeah they’d better figure out a way to deal with it.
It's just you.
I didn't sense that. She's thrilled because they complement each other so well -- and if they double CC, she'll get less attention. And vice-versa.
Boston will learn quickly that her new teammate can pass better than 95% of ballers in the country, men and women.
Must success , except when you play against the chi Sky😊
And the Aces. A'ja is that girl.
She will never run the point coz there's Erica. She now a shooting guard. Way different from iowa.
She had Molly Davis during the regular season running point a lot, so it’s not totally new territory for her.
@@annamoyle we're all about to see the rotation as the season starts. I hope Grace Berger will not get cut. That girl was fan favorite at Indiana University.
Her not running the point isn’t new. In Iowa anyone in the 1-4 position would bring up the ball 😂
@@ronscorner4819 does it really matter?
@@TheBandit949 yes it is, it'll affect the betting. Come on now, money on the line...CC is money.
