I´ve always liked cooking food, but cooking nades something else!

Sort of an oddity, but sometimes when using the insta grab method on your second nade when your first nade is at your feet, you may accidentally grab the first grenade and throw off your cooking setup. It's happened a few times, just need to be watchful of that. I really liked the C4 drop in one of your setups, very sneaky there

Id like to see what kind of cooking techniques we can come up with that use Dtilt, Uptilt and/or Dash attack (since you can grab snake out of all these setups and possibly combo him extremely hard if you can use the grenades against him) falcon can dthrow, toss, knee for example

Hmm the 2 light toss nade would help avoid grabs since you don't have to shield drop, the z catch without B reverse would be great for retreating with insensitive for the opponent to stay away, with B reverse if I don't have the room, up smash to cover up close approaches against rushdowns...all of these have great applications beyond just cooking nade

Hey poppin swiss i was in training mode with snake and i was messing around with his grenades and i noticed the grenades were doing diffrent amounts of damage. What determines how much a damage a grenade does is it how far away you are from your opponant or is it how long you cook the grenades for?. I figured you could help me since you are a snake main and know a lot about the character. Thanks
It matter if move staling is on. The more nades you land the less damage it'll do. Also if you throw a nade at someone before it blows up, it also does damage for getting hit by the physical nade itself which is usually 5%
I dont think grenades stale cause when i was in training mode if you turn on stale moves and you are right up close to your opponant and use the hard throw the initial hit will always be 3.7 and the actual explosion will always be 10.3 but when i am farther away the initial hit will do less damage but sometimes the explosion will do more or less and this is with move staling on any advice?

at 2:33 are you dropping the grenade after the z grenade, or can i start the b-reverse with b after the znade? thanks
I was doing the z nade and then b reversing after. Hope this helps!

Should I switch to a gamecube controller to play like shogun? I currently use a nintendo switch pro controller. I see that lots of pro players use gamecube controllers.
Up to you personally. I use a GameCube controller cuz that's what I grew up on playing melee and all that. But some top players use pro controllers. It's just whatever you're comfortable with. Zackray started on a pro controller and switched to a GameCube controller and Scatt uses a pro controller
Do you recommend getting the official smash gamecube controller? Or is it better to get an authentic gamecube controller
