    I'm on my 3rd B9 (B9 S5 Coupe, Sportback then current B9.5 S4) and 034's tune is by far the best of APR, EPL and IE. First time I've used it is on my S4 and it's a totally different drive. My dragy was 0.2 seconds faster to 60 than my coupe with APR stage 1. APR didn't have the TCU tune at the time though, it could be that - but either way, miles better!

      I have noticed a little clunkiness with the TCU when slowly accelerating, like say ~2k rpms when cruising through a parking lot or something. Also, on a cold start, the rpms oscillate a bit until the idle drops. Those are the only "issues" I've noticed so far.

      @@brentmc79 so I mentioned it in the video before editing it out because I was in comfort mode and didn't know if it was normal at low rpm, since I rarely drive in that mode.

    • @RS3NDIT
      @RS3NDIT 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@angrycatmeowmeow guessing you're asking streetryde as I don't own both, just EPL. I bought it early on so i got map switching as part of the package, I think that might have been teh last sale where it was included. That said, it was worth every penny and i believe EPL is still great value for money. If numbers are everything, EPL won't provide HP/TQ numbers as they say they will be different in different conditions and there are a lot of factors at play. What they believe is most important (and i agree with this) is this vastly improves teh "fun factor" of the car and in my opinion, as well as other owners of this tune, increases the overall drivability of the vehicle. Add map switching into the equation...and i don't think anyone can match that kinda value.
      That's not even getting into their incredible customer support - they are really fast to respond and willing to work with owners on a case-by-case basis. I've never seen such attention to detail and service and it's really really amazing from a customer perspective! Hope this was helpful, you can't really go wrong either way.

    Just had my '21 S4 flash tuned with 034's Stage 1 ECU/TCU tune. My 0-60 times are really underwhelming to say the least.
    I was under the impression that the car does 0-60 in 4.4s STOCK! Unfortunately I didn't have the dragy to test it while the car was stock and only used it after the car was flashed.
    Any ideas why 0-60 times are so slow? I have the car in true dynamic, traction control off, and launch from 3500 rpm. Something seems off here...

    • @StreetRyde
      @StreetRyde  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What's going on bro if you are getting a 4.4 0-60 on a stage 1 tune you are correct something isn't right. First I would double check the tune you flashed is loaded on the car. You can check this by attempting to flash it again and look at the previous configuration. If that's right then ensure you are in launch mode. Ensure you are holding down the traction control button for about 3 to 5 sec. You will get 2 warnings that your traction is off. The first is entering sport traction mode the second is its all the way off. Next make sure you push the brake all the way to the floor. The accelerator pedal must also be pushed all the way to the floor after. You can not feather it for a certain rpm. Watch you boost gauge not your rpm. When it builds to about 45% to 55% (I don't remember how high it goes) lift off the brake. You should now be in AMAX mode and should not hear "farts" between shifts. Let me know if this helps.

    What downpipe issue are you speaking about regarding the flash? I am getting a 2023 S5. How would you recommend the stage 1 034 tune?

    • @StreetRyde
      @StreetRyde  ปีที่แล้ว

      Stage 1 will have a check engine light with a downpipe. If you have a downpipe you will want a stage 2 tune.

    Hey there.. Great how-to vid's. big time follower ... Question on the 034 Stage1 install. I have read a few people are not using a charger on the battery when doing this. I didnt see that you have as well . How long total does the initial install take?
    I will only be doing ECU Stage 1-93 octane and TCU stage 1.. I will be going to Stage 2 as soon as I get my Intercooler.. still waiting on it..
    and again great videos and keep it up..

      Thanks for the follow I truly appreciate it. You should have a battery charger on the battery when install the tune. Especially if you are not sure the quality of you car Battery. The goal is to not let your car die when installing the tune. First time I think it took like 2 mins to install.

    So what was the stock 0-60 and 1/4 diffrence of stock vs tuned

    • @StreetRyde
      @StreetRyde  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I found a dragy slip before I was tune with intake and intercooler 0-60 4.28 and 1/4 of 12.53 @ 110mph and 60' of 1.87 which tells me I wasn't launching right. Hope that helps
