Taking this Expert from my work from my dealership for a test drive, this car was actually for sale and it drives very well, it was fun to drive, a interesting utilitary vehicle.

This 1.9 is a great engine. Have used this van. It's slow but indestructible. Probably prefer it to the 2.0 HDI. Less to go wrong. Surprisingly quiet too on the inside once it's warmed up. Smooth ride too.
Yes, it is a rock solid engine. Runs even better with Total 5w40 syntetic oil. I have it on a 2005 Berlingo and it gives 0 issues, just oils and belts when needed and off you go
@@andycapo9you Just how reliable is it? I'm looking for a new van, and have taken a liking to this, as it has such good reviews of reliability. When you (and others) say "slow", how slow? Just sluggish uphill? Or better once warned up?
@@MrLoZzZzA Sluggish! But it goes 500.000 km with no problems at all, if taken care of with oil etc..

Now I know how it feels like when I'm a paramedic on "Code Lyoko", flooring the Diesel powered 1st gen Jumpy to the hospital with Jeremie/Jeremy Belpois on the stretcher in the rear!
I remember driving this car, very beat up version, scratches and holes all over the body, shock absorbers fked up, paint was fked up and it was rusty near the wheels. Anyway i drove trough Hungary and decided to see how fast it can go, so i made it to 160, i was losing control driving on the edge of death. Then i passed some German tourists driving some fast BMW and Audi S6 and they got offended so badly that they started racing with me trying to overtake but they could not because it was very narrow road and i felt they were unsecure at that speed. Man it felt good, one of the best and most intense experiences of my life. I love this car just for that day when i won the race. This car is a real mule.

Ovaj stari expert je pravi magarac, svojim ocima sam video kako ga tovare sa 3 tone svakodnevno, povlaci na kvacilu nerealno, bio je ojacan i imao je c gume ali svejedno auto je neverovatno izdrzljivo i nikad se ne kvari, nema ni plivajuci. Kosta oko 1500 e. Ma vrh.

Well actually they made this same van in 3 brands, Fiat, Peugeot and citroen, so I'd say that they wouldnt be making 3 different branded steering wheels when they could use just 1
I think its aftermarket
@@gifu8395 dont think that's the reason because they could just use one of their other cars steering wheel, making it even cheaper than a non branded one

There is no need for that , its a diesel all the power is down low in the revs this driving is verry normal for diesel

@@abdelstudio7892 No it's not an HDI. It's an older diesel engine that predates HDI engines. 1.9D is a naturally aspirated 4-cylinders diesel engine of 71hp, the turbocharged version is the 1.9TD (93hp).
