I really like that they got Hana a black/coloured doll. It was so refreshing to see. Also, I'm not one for being soppy but its great to see how happy yo guys are in your new house :')
If you go to the toy section of a shop about 90% of the dolls are white, there are *hardly* any black dolls. There's no difference between the dolls themselves except that one is more available than the other, which isn't good for black girls because they don't have anyone who looks like them. Even though Hanna isn't black it's nice to see a black doll regardless, it shows things are changing :)))
maybe I am not black that's why I don't feel like that when I was a kid I never wanted the doll to look like me I just played with it and then threw it away when I was bored lol but these days children observe every thing.I think it is good to buy a black doll because over here only maids are black n they don't keep there selves clean so kids don't feel comfortable while kissing and hugging them.but khair in Islam you are not even allowed to buy dolls because when toys have faces angels don't enter the house.we should try avoiding such toys.

I actually had a black doll as a child and I'm about the same age as Dina. I remember that even though I am white, I just really loved that little doll when I was a kid. It really is important for children's toys to be more representative and culturally diverse.
I remember while I was at the mosque during the last Taraweeh My heart was pounding and I was crying because this blessed month was actually coming to an end And I was really nervous that it might not come again and Shaytaan is coming back to get us Inshallah all will bring this blessed month back and forgive us for all our sins Ameen

Dining table by the lights, the low pendants create a better environment for eating cause it lowers the ceiling height in a sense and creates a more cozy space. The thing sid said about the entrance being blocked, there is more than enough space by the couch guys 😂. Imagine if you get up from the couch and want to stretch, you'll hit the lights with your head guys 😂

Yep those lights are for a dining table. They're low so with a table sitting under so you won't touch them. So I agree with Dina btw guys. Thank you for sharing this past month with us. I'm from New Zealand and I'm Christian rather than Muslim but you teach me so much about your religion. Thank you for that.
Thank you for the Ramadan vlogs! It really helped me get through my first Ramadan by looking forward to watching one of your videos at iftar (lol I learned to wait about 3 days in, when it's the afternoon here in America and you guys have already broken your fasts and you showed us!!!). Really made me feel like a part of something seeing other people do it too. I hope that next year I'll have some more friends to break fast with and do ramadany things with! I hope your new house is filled with love and joy and great times. Very jealous. You guys deserve a nice house with a giant middle burner and did I see two ovens??????? Also a staircase, skylights, a garden, and 3? floors. You two continue to be an inspiration to what someone can achieve in a community that can look down on creative ventures and be rife with conservativism. Often times I feel pressure, as a convert, to give in to the anxiety-ridden side of Islam, the one that yells at you if you don't wear socks while praying or if you listen to music! You two show us that there is a healthy balance between British/western customs/culture and Islamic traditions and customs. Keep doing you, and I hope that you two continue to find happiness in your lives.

I LOVE the new house. The kitchen is ahhhmazing. And the marble floor is lush. I personally wouldn't place the couch in front of the radiotor. It will block all the heat. Come winter you will notice. And Sid is right it blocks the entrance. Also Dina, you might have hated every minute of filming during Ramadan. But think of it as a diary, it's a nice way to look back and see how you evolved (iA) during Ramadan throughout the years.
I always click so fast when I see the RamaVlogs in my notif. But this time I really didnt want to because the thumbnail itself is so heartbreaking💔. Thank you Sid for all the efforts you put to keep uploading during Ramadan though it was a real headache. This Ramadan had been a great trial for many muslims, we keep them in our prayer; Grenfell Tower victims, Nabra ❤. May Allah always bless you and your family and yess your new hOme💕.

You two continue to be an inspiration to what someone can achieve in a community that can look down on creative ventures and be rife with conservativism. Often times I feel pressure, as a convert, to give in to the anxiety-ridden side of Islam, the one that yells at you if you don't wear socks while praying or if you listen to music! You two show us that there is a healthy balance between British/western customs/culture and Islamic traditions and customs.
Keep doing you, and I hope that you two continue to find happiness in your lives.

I LOVE the new house. The kitchen is ahhhmazing. And the marble floor is lush. I personally wouldn't place the couch in front of the radiotor. It will block all the heat. Come winter you will notice. And Sid is right it blocks the entrance.
Also Dina, you might have hated every minute of filming during Ramadan. But think of it as a diary, it's a nice way to look back and see how you evolved (iA) during Ramadan throughout the years.
Totally loved the Ramadan Vlogs. I hope to see them again next year. And yes to one video for whole Ramadan recap.

I always click so fast when I see the RamaVlogs in my notif. But this time I really didnt want to because the thumbnail itself is so heartbreaking💔. Thank you Sid for all the efforts you put to keep uploading during Ramadan though it was a real headache. This Ramadan had been a great trial for many muslims, we keep them in our prayer; Grenfell Tower victims, Nabra ❤.
