I started an online course and followed 12 hours of it. I learned bringing basic sentences together. I will definitely keep learning and my goal is to understand every Persian gem song including Mohsen Namjoo’s songs :)

Lyrics were from the true messenger of god for Iranians Hafez Shirazi 1315 AD ~1390 AD, born and died in Shiraz. Hard to believe these words are over 700 years old but they sound as if they were written a moment ago. What a treasure the Persian language is.

As a matter of fact, translating a poetry especially Hafiz's is an impossible job. However the first verses may be something like this:
I make a sea from my see (it means that I cry so that my eye becomes like a sea full of water) and impatiently escape to desert and plains and finally leap in the dark. I utter a sigh from the bottom of my sinful heart, a sigh which ignites Adam and Eve's original sin...
