If your never physically healed in this life, do know that you are healed in the life hereafter. Start listening to a few teachers of the word of God rightly divided, such as e.c. moore berean bible study, Rodney beaulieu grace community church, or truth time radio with trey searcy. These are very good men who can teach the truth comparing scriptures. There is hope and suicide is not the answer. In times past, from Genesis- acts, God spoke and revealed himself through various ways; through dreams, visions, angels, burning bush, still small voice, etc. and finally sending his SON JESUS to speak. The nation of Israel rejected their messiah and king, and had him murdered( crucified). God gave them time to repent! The stoning and killing of Stephen was, so to speak, the final straw. God suspended their program and will deal with them again in the future. Then God raised up another Apostle to preach the good news of the gospel, that Christ paid the debt for ALL of our sins. His name is Apostle Paul. You will only get the message of grace by studying Pauls epistles. Romans through Philemon.

In January, I was talking to a friend about God, and I told him “I don’t know how many times I talked to Him about this…”. Suddenly, it dawned on me, I was the only one doing the talking. I asked my friend “Do you think I’m talking too much and not listening?!”. Since that day, my life changed. Y’all, LET HIM TALK TO YOU. He talks to me all the time now that I understand that I should let Him speak.

But think about it like this: when a student asks their teacher a question, does the teacher always give the answer right away? A lot of times, teachers will guide their students to an answer without answering them. They might ask questions that will lead the students to the answer. And if they answer wrong, the teachers can give ‘em a hint and ask them another question. I believe God does the same thing: He makes us think. I know it’s a difficult thing to fathom. But the more we grow closer to God, the easier He is to understand. And remember: He’s always listening. I know a lot of times it feels like He’s ignoring you, but He never is. So trust His timing 🙏🏻

It takes time and practice to learn how to both listen and hear God. It's not something that's done overnight. He has spoken with me many times, but He doesn't expect us to be able to hear Him right away. My sheep hear my voice is the truth, but even sheep have learn how that voice sounds.

Lately I've really been petitioning God to deliver me from the consequences of my sin and once I opened my Bible, I was led to Jeremiah 29:12 - "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you." So I believe that He's heard my petitions and the fact that He's given me peace through this situation lets me know that He's already answered my prayers. Thank you God for your unfailing mercy. 🙏

[ It does not say to start a conversation] I started praying when I was 16 although I said many prayers before I never prayed. I cried out to God when I realized my lost state without Christ. That prayer has never stopped from the morning to the evening. This video is deceptive. God answers us trough His word. By reading and studying it daily. If I fall asleep at night the Lord is with me and I give all Glory to Him. My first answer from the Lord was when I saw that God the Father was Well pleased with Jesus His Son special, when He died at the Cross. I said Lord If you are well pleased with that sacrifice at the cross, Why would I not be. Matthew 3: 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I AM well pleased!”

I have so wasted my life, I should have listened to God when He first spoke to me, way back in 1975 when I was 15! He took me to the Gospel of John chapter 14, this was a powerful scripture for me at that time. But I came from a family where both parents didn’t believe in God. So the subsequent years have been filled with me moving from church to church looking for something, which I now know was really the acceptance of people rather than the acceptance of God. But, I am now committed to The Lord, finally and completely, and I really need to learn to hear what He is saying to me!

The lesson that you learned from that experience was what God wanted you to see. In whatever you are searching for, you can find in God. Not in people, not in the world, but in God.

I dare you to knock on that door..give it some time and God will always answer. He's an awesome God. Life is difficult but without God it's impossible. I depend and lean on God for everything. There isn't 1 big decision I make without consulting with God first. He always answers and tells me what to do!!
This makes me so sad that to realise I have just been talking to God and not listening. I haven't been fair, but I know He is faithful. From now on I will pray, then I will listen. Even if it means waiting the whole night. I believe He will speak to me through His Holy Spirit. So often I wonder what I can do to serve the Lord, what my purpose is here. Some of us may never discover the exact reason of why we are where we are, but as believers we need to seek God's will and we can only do that through prayer, through faith. The bible tells us to "persevere in prayer". I hope I can now enjoy a deeper relationship with my Creator, through listening to His voice, a voice of love. I have only ever really listened to the voices in my head, the voices of satan which tell me so many lies to hinder me. This is why I haven't changed much since the day of my salvation. Yes Kathleen.... pastors are just men (or just women), but this does not mean you can't learn things from them. It is also important to get the Word of God confirmed.
@Seeking Maturity , I have learned a lot of good things from women over the years. The voice of God is not limited to men. If you are truly "seeking maturity", listening to women could do you a lot of good. Remember too that actions often speak louder than words, like the wonderful lady who washed Jesus feet with perfume.
This message really opened my eyes & heart! I feel like a dummy - I pray for God's will, read the bible, and feel God's spirit sometimes, but didn't think to stop all my actions and just listen!
He's right if you make the effort to pay attention it's the quietest purist internal voice. I believe its quiet so you can ignore it if you choose (free will) you have to choose to hear it, if he boomed down from the heavens we'd fall to our knees and pray out of fear thats not free will.

I saw nothing that was patronizing anybody here. Convicting them, maybe, but not patronizing. A preacher who constantly preaches ‘ Jesus loves you ‘, while that is true, is not a very good preacher. If he doesn’t cause you to think and question your current life and relationship with God/to other people, then, he isn’t a very good preacher.

I went to FBA today on the 21 July 19. I saw Dr Stanley preach, absolutely amazing. Also equally amazing is the music. The staff were EXTREMELY nice and helpful. It is a huge church with so many things going on at once . It was a blessing to be there to worship God !
If God only speaks through the Bible, then he doesn’t work in our lives in any personal way. He couldn’t be guiding us to do any specific thing. I have a hard time believing in such an impersonal God. I have gotten impressions in my mind, not often, but I thought were from Him such as …if you trust Me you’ll have joy… I can’t imagine coming up with that myself, but it perfectly aligns with His word. Or maybe I’m wrong and He just doesn’t care about me that much.
I listen and observe until the answer reveals itself...the more I looked for HIM, the more I believed like a little kid, the more my eyes and ears were opened. :) I started by replacing my debating mind with God....and so at first it was like a 100% 1 sided non stop conversation...and then I talked less and noticed a higher quality of thoughts flowing through my mind.....and that led to OMG so much MORE. Be still and KNOW HE IS. :) Hallelujah!
Psalms chapter 1 teaches us to meditate in the Word of God day and night. I have never heard a preacher preach that. They may say reading the Word is important, but they NEVER give that vital instruction to meditate in it Day and night. And it is sad. They will not preach the one thing that is needful.
But we can't always think that God will communicate with us when we think. He does it on his timing.
God is patient, loving, and forgiving. What a Mighty God we serve.

Even if it means waiting the whole night. I believe He will speak to me through His Holy Spirit. So often I wonder what I can do to serve the Lord, what my purpose is here. Some of us may never discover the exact reason of why we are where we are, but as believers we need to seek God's will and we can only do that through prayer, through faith.
The bible tells us to "persevere in prayer". I hope I can now enjoy a deeper relationship with my Creator, through listening to His voice, a voice of love. I have only ever really listened to the voices in my head, the voices of satan which tell me so many lies to hinder me. This is why I haven't changed much since the day of my salvation. I have listened only to the words of men and not the wisdom of God.

Yes Kathleen.... pastors are just men (or just women), but this does not mean you can't learn things from them. It is also important to get the Word of God confirmed.

@Seeking Maturity , I have learned a lot of good things from women over the years. The voice of God is not limited to men. If you are truly "seeking maturity", listening to women could do you a lot of good. Remember too that actions often speak louder than words, like the wonderful lady who washed Jesus feet with perfume.
Listening for His voice is such yhe GREATEST anticipation!! Isaiah 64:4

This message really opened my eyes & heart! I feel like a dummy - I pray for God's will, read the bible, and feel God's spirit sometimes, but didn't think to stop all my actions and just listen!
Lord forgive me because it has always been about me. Give me the grace to listen to you.
Pray in the spirit and the understanding daily.
He's right if you make the effort to pay attention it's the quietest purist internal voice. I believe its quiet so you can ignore it if you choose (free will) you have to choose to hear it, if he boomed down from the heavens we'd fall to our knees and pray out of fear thats not free will.

I saw nothing that was patronizing anybody here. Convicting them, maybe, but not patronizing. A preacher who constantly preaches ‘ Jesus loves you ‘, while that is true, is not a very good preacher. If he doesn’t cause you to think and question your current life and relationship with God/to other people, then, he isn’t a very good preacher.

I went to FBA today on the 21 July 19. I saw Dr Stanley preach, absolutely amazing. Also equally amazing is the music. The staff were EXTREMELY nice and helpful. It is a huge church with so many things going on at once . It was a blessing to be there to worship God !

If God only speaks through the Bible, then he doesn’t work in our lives in any personal way. He couldn’t be guiding us to do any specific thing. I have a hard time believing in such an impersonal God. I have gotten impressions in my mind, not often, but I thought were from Him such as …if you trust Me you’ll have joy… I can’t imagine coming up with that myself, but it perfectly aligns with His word. Or maybe I’m wrong and He just doesn’t care about me that much.

I listen and observe until the answer reveals itself...the more I looked for HIM, the more I believed like a little kid, the more my eyes and ears were opened. :) I started by replacing my debating mind with God....and so at first it was like a 100% 1 sided non stop conversation...and then I talked less and noticed a higher quality of thoughts flowing through my mind.....and that led to OMG so much MORE. Be still and KNOW HE IS. :) Hallelujah!
How did u listen did u just get quiet?
Psalms chapter 1 teaches us to meditate in the Word of God day and night. I have never heard a preacher preach that. They may say reading the Word is important, but they NEVER give that vital instruction to meditate in it Day and night. And it is sad. They will not preach the one thing that is needful.
