A very enjoyable hike indeed...so much history in these areas...it is amazing! Always appreciate getting a new notification of another of your great adventures. Thanks for the tour and hope you have a wonderful week! Bruce and Otis
I appreciate your comment, I do like to put the history into my walks, I think its takes longer to research each one than to actually walk the distance.
Good to see they've put that tight kissing gate in after the motorway crossing. When I did this walk in 2019, I was overtaken (on the Walker's Only path) by a number of cyclists in either direction. But it was good to revisit some of the memories through your video and I look forward to more in Part 2. All the best.
Thanks Steve, I have another long distance walk that I have completed which will be coming out soon through the South of England which I thoroughly enjoyed - the pilgrims way, does have a special moment in it too which I believe is a rarity
Nice one Andy, I walked the South Downs way myself last month. It’s such great hike, so many great views to see along the way. I think I would take my time a bit more, if ever I did it again just so I could appreciate it more. ATB George 👍🏻
Hi Dave, yes its been a long time coming, thanks for watching, so far done 3 long distance walks this year and hoping to do 2 more before the end of the year. Catching up on time lost
I have broken in up to 2 parts, but this one really wanted to get a good walk in with a little less filming, but do have an epic long distance walk coming out soon with no end of history and facts along the way

@@ExpeditionHiker well done Andy, I retire in under 4 years so just hope I'm still fit enough as looking forward to getting stuck in again. 👍
@@DaveGoodman1959 Lucky you I have another 15 years before I can enjoy this hobby 24/7
Looks like another interesting long distance trail Andy. A bit of a shortish video for you. Wasn’t there as much worth filming on this one?
