- Here is a video I made of Amtrak Capitol Corridor and San Joaquin trains at Berkeley Amtrak station in Berkeley, CA. This also includes the westbound California Zephyr #5. All the Capitol Corridor trains stop here, but San Joaquin trains don't. I've also caught CDTX 2052 on Amtrak 713 by surprised. Enjoy!

Train 12: Amtrak California Zephyr #5 passing by approaching it's final destination, Emeryville also running 6 minutes early. Also has a Phase IV heritage baggage car, which is rare to see these days since heritage baggage cars are being replaced by viewliner baggage cars, and what makes it more rare is that it's still in Phase IV.

why did each f59phi I not have the marker lights on but used its head light as the marker lights
+Amattew rail Productions Good question, but from all I know, Amtrak possibly changed the rule of the marker lights. They probably want the marker light to be at least at or above the head light, and if the marker lights aren't above the head lights, they must have the headlight on either with or without the marker lights. I've seen them doing that on the Surfliner along with Metrolink. They also do it with P42's most of the time and sometimes they don't. There's some railroads that don't do it like Coaster, CalTrain, or ACE, so I know it couldn't be a FRA rule, it was probably Amtrak's rule itself.
If there was anyone that changed that rule it quite definitely the FRA
