A WALL OF BOOKSHELVES WITH ONLY THRIFTED FINDS?? | Thrift Styling | Decorate With Me

- I recently did a lot of work to make a wall of bookshelves. Although I'm not done with them, I felt like I needed to see them come alive before I decided on paint. Now to curb myself from spending more decor, I thought I would look through my cabinet to find thrift finds that would be perfect for these shelves. To take it even further though, I decided to styling these shelves with ONLY thrifted finds. Is it even possible?? Do I have enough items that will look good together and still create the vision I am dreaming of? Decorate with me and let me know what color I should paint these bookshelves! I'm leaning toward something moody but open to suggestions!!

I don't understand putting a nice picture on the shelf then blocking it's view with another piece. Love all your items.

Some command hooks for elevation of your framed art? Every one of them seems to be blocked by a picture sized object. You have lovely art and lovely objects.
I agree, love the artwork. If it is just blocking a small corner of it, that is OK but her prints are too pretty to block. But it looks beautiful either way! 😍

Everything looks beautiful but my one question is why do you covered most of the picture
Just a design choice. It looked off without the picture when I originally styled it so I just layered the picture behind it. I tend to move things around though so when I style things it normally doesn’t stay that way for long
The only thing I would have changed is not put items in front of the pictures that hide the actual print/painting. What’s the purpose of putting pictures up when you can’t admire the scene?

Don’t paint them, the white compliments the items perfectly.
Honestly I’m leaning towards keeping them white too because they items do work so well with white 😄
