I think from Underground 2 to Carbon was when the sound really started to sound like the actual car...
Nfs u2 sounds pretty close to the real r34, if u maxed out the car without blueprinting the block, and installing every single exhaust upgrade and keep the stock turbo installed, u will get a very nice r34 sound

Except in the nfsu2 clip the engine is fully upgraded. Is not supposed to sound like that
this true and in every car on NFSu2 the turbo u can do, but leave the exhaust's and blueprint the block, sounds perfectly normal

The dark, rumbling sound from NFSU may be unrealistic, but to me, it sounds so good... Well, probably the nostalgia factor.
ProStreet was definitely ahead of it's time in terms of most of it's visuals and audio.

Why everyone maxes Skyline in UG2 for these videos... engine upgrades make it sound far worse...like some bad inline4. same thing happens to supra xS
Well in UG2 it sounds nothing like the Skyline with max upgrades because originally the devs had planned to make it possible to do engine swaps, and there were also a number of cut cars which were supposed to appear in the game, including a Ferrari 360 Modena. The engine sound of most of the cars at max upgrades is exactly that of the Ferrari. I personally never liked this either, in fact i would always leave the engine stock on the Skyline.
Man, I miss Need For Speed Pro Street. Had fun with that one.

You forgot the 2012 Most Wanted. The R34 is part of the "NFS Heroes" DLC, as Eddie's Skyline from nfsu1. I think it has the best engine sound out of all versions.

Pro Street and Shift 1 were my favorites in physics.
I always used the R34 as a speeding car, cuz it was too powerful for the circuit races in ProStreet.
That Deathstep Guy Tho i menaged to use it in Grip xd I found gokd finetuning tutorials for ProStreet you can tame it a bit with proper setup :v
ProStreet is so much fun on G27 with clutch and h shifter....all thesedumb UG2 kids who bashed it when it released be damned xD
Kacpa2 Wasnt really caring about how could i map the R34 for grip races. It was just fine foe speeding cuz it had a lot of horses a lot of torque and its was AWD. It was actually one of the Quickest cars around, so in speeding it was specially good. Gave the fuck out of everyone at the starting line they couldnt even gap me ahahah

@Neon - Corolla Virus u2 reuses the ferrari 360 sound when upgraded and stock it uses the same sound as stock r34 in carbon and upgraded r34 in prostreet. still not as bad as using the 350z sounds for the supra smh

How come the r34 didn't appear in MW 2005 but it showed up in MW 2012...
TrainerRubyCheah There is a secret file im MW 2005 where is shown that skyline was made for this game but they didnt add it. And in MW 2012 they add skyline in DLC, maybe its just licensing problem.

Al igual que con los 23 coches de Hot Pursuit 2, el Skyline R34 fue uno de esos coches con el que crecí.

In UG2 if you not going to buy engine mods the sound will be very good, however engine mods (only engine section) changes the sound to some shitty 4-cyl for some reason, and it doesn't sound like Skyline anymore 😐

It's worth mentioning that in NFSU2 the sounds of all JDM cars gets identical after the stage 3 engine upgrade, specifically the engine blueprinting upgrade iirc. The sound of the R34 is much better without the engine blueprinting in NFSU2.
That's because they shared the same Ferrari 360's V8 Sound. there's a plenty of engine sound mods that you can add & replace the amounts of ferrari swaps in that game (of course if you know how to operate the NFS Vlt-ED).
With that car I beat Razor in Most Wanted, using Mod Loader, it replaces the Cadillac CTS, the license of the car is original, extracted from NFS Underground 2, original vinyls from U2 and Eddie ...
The benefits are original of Underground 2, it is a car that already has a lot of acceleration ...
The BMW M3 GTR can have very good handling and final speed, but the Skyline makes a lot of difference in low in intermediate, then normalizes
Nfs underground 2 nissan skyline sounds like a proper rb26 sound if stock
People may not like the handling of cars in 2015 but once you get the tuning right, you can make a smooth dorifto. A good drift car for me is the Toyota Sprinter GT Apex. Put the tuning two times to the drift setting and maybe add drift tires if you’re desperate and you can get smooth drifts. It’s best to go on the outside when drifting.

Need For Speed High Stakes didn't actually have the Nissan Skyline GTR R34 until modders started making it for NFS High Stakes on PC. Go to www.nfscars.net, search for High Stakes, then Nissan, and you should find a lot of Skylines for the older NFS Games on PC and download them so you can race in it. Great Video though! Brings me back to my childhood! 😃
