hi you need to spend 60£ for materials to repair hull it is easy to do 2hours in the garage and GP1800 is ready to go I had seadoo it is peace of shit Yamaha 4 cilinders more reliable engine after upgrades
Notice at 2:32 that the glove box pops open. Oops! This is a known issue with these skis (and yes, I own one) and I would like to see Yamaha step up and issue a recall to address this issue.
i feel a recall for something so minor is unprecedented, I'm not saying its not a safety issue, but most of the time recalls are for when theres a serious issue that could cause injury to the operator, , i doubt a glove compartment popping open would cause any problems.

How is the GP1800 different from the VXR?
GP1800 is supercharged the VXR isn't. IF you are happy with 65-66 and dont want to go any faster really the VXR would be a great choice.
Stock the GP is limited to 69 MPH (all are). With just a re-flash the ski will run 75 to 77 MPH depending on conditions. It's wicked quick and fast.
