Should I get this or a Seadoo Spark? This looks a lot better, but my friend says the spark is much more agile and that Yamaha’s are only good for fishing. Is he talking shit or is he onto something?
Stefan Trifunovic, the Spark is more nimble, but the EX has a more traditional PWC build while still being fairly nimble and having more power. If i were you i would decide what kind of riding you are doing, single passenger short rides in fairly smooth water? And want the most nimble thing possible get a spark. Plan on doing longer rides and a passenger while still getting a playful ski get the EX. One thing should be mentioned if you do get yamaha try for the base or sport model. Anything more expensive is not worth it and once you start closing in on 10k the Kawasaki 15F becomes another option.
Stefan.... Seadoo Spark is lighter and more nimble.. more playful maybe. If u just want to play, buy the seadoo spark. but this lighter weight comes at a cost. in rough sea it's quite bumpy compared to the yamaha. The yamaha is heavier, and bigger. This makes it better in bigger seas and if u ride with a passenger. And... it's still playful. i would pick the yamaha any day. just my 2 cent :)
