The premise SOUNDS like powertrip, but yeah, it's not really like that. Mirai (Akira) moral is not right. He has a crippling inferiority complex and cowardice seeded by years of abuse. When confronted by the option of killing, he backed down and will try to find a pacifist way. In this day of age, this is actually a breath of fresh air since nowadays people will just make their character psycho or morally grey for the sake of letting people explore the impossibility of acting that way in real life.

Even the manga is mediocre ,sadly. In the anime they missed some elements of manga to explain stuff but even the canon story itself is not very impressive. The artwork and attempt was good at a diff concept but just didn’t live up to the mark in my opinion. Feel free to check it out for yourself !

The white arrow kills anything it pierces but the MC completely refuses to kill anyone at all, even the deranged bio-terrorist who quite literally tried to unleash Airborne Covid on steroid to kill millions of people and gets aroused from seeing people die from her chemicals in Platinum End.
