- This is Jelda/ジェルダII for Sharp Mz-2200, and this game is a sequel to the original Jelda/ジェルダ. In this game you are tasked by the Jelda War 2nd installment Operation code name V to use an enhanced energy shield device called Vergas to destroy the enemy secret satellite Galva, which is 1km in diameter. It's divided into three stages in one world. The first stage has you launch from planet Jelda and annihilate the 16 Galva vanguard forces that appear on screen. The second stage has you fight on the satellite Galva and discover the internal entry gate that needs to be shot to move on. Finally, the third stage has you advance through the internal maze and destroy the main computer core. Keep an eye on the Shield's energy meter that will drain down when getting hit. Once the shield is destroyed its game over. I wasn't able to make it through the maze because of the way it is set up, but I did manage to pass two stages. It's a really good game and the first to be played in 2025, sadly I couldn't register my name in the High score because of the controls not moving an inch. Still recommend it, there is also an IBM JX version that I am waiting for so I'm not sure when it will be played, but that's all and Happy New Years!
