I appreciated what Sai said about the mind. It's in the very nature of the mind to jump around monkey-like. And that we can go into the heart to get the truth. Using the intellect, which is higher than the mind, I've found to be life-savingly important when it comes to certain doubts about ourselves and God. The mind is pretty much linked to the ego and will therefore do its utmost to drag us into often ridiculous thoughts. Joining the Buddhi to the Heart (soul) has recently literally rescued me from destructive assumptions created by the conscious and subconscious mind. I thought I'd share that, because with prayer and correct thinking, not only can incorrect mind activity be stopped in its tracks, but is actually truly control of the mind's shenanigans.

Sairam Sairam Sairam 🙏 Thank you Brother for a heartfelt explanation of incidents n experience with Swamy, but in the Entire video SWAMY pics i was watching it took my mind to.prashanthi, kodaikanal n whitefield n really enjoyed the pics Feeling You are talking, real video is real you are live in video n Swamy is in the pics, since it is long i haven't watched in one stretch watched it in 3 splits, NOW when i learnt the cobra story i felt yesterday watching pics of Swsmy today feeling WHAT WE ARE SEEING IS NOT REAL WHAT WE EXPERIENCE OR EXPERIENCED IS NOT ALSO REAL, if in the video i can feel it is Brother Sundar alive n talking in the same video i am feeling it is not pics of Swamy it is REAL Swamy watching you n me n giving beautiful expression n guiding us, through you that the reason our mind takes us to real time able to see Swamy, you made us to see Swamy, just watch again almost all expression of Swamy made me to feel Swamy was there n listening to you n enjoying what you are telling us . Swamy would have made cobra to thorn to protect you, just like Swamy can bring hot mysore pak from chitravati sand, convert sand to sweet , he made COBRA TO THORN n it may be secret meeting of Adishesha or Kalinga or Vasuki visiting Swamy n you started playing n taking pics Swamy don't want to talk about that , so he told you playing Drama, it is the Biggest Drama of Swamy, i feel Prema sai revel this n Divine touch removes pain in the heart mind n scar in the leg ❤Thank you Swamy Guiding us through brother ❤❤🎉🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏

This narration of the snake bite experience is so different in its insight from the one I have heard before. Thanks a lot for this wonderful satsang. The points regarding not letting the mind determine who you really are in your existence were so helpful. Thanks a lot brother. The story related to Swami being the ultimate linked to your father's passing will remain etched in my mind forever. Jai Sairam!

Something isn't making sense to me, Sunder. Swami refused to admit that you were bitten by a cobra, and yet he obviously caused the venom to remain localised, so that the extended delay in receiving the antidote did not kill you. And later, He instructed you not to donate blood (for obvious reasons). In other words, Swami wouldn't verbally accept the fact that you were bitten, but at the same time made sure that you were saved from a non-existent bite, and later that you didn't donate blood. This is beyond my present understanding. Also, I remember the story of the young boy sitting on the veranda. Swami beckoned to him but the boy remained sitting and didn't obey. Again Swami called him, and although the boy kept his eyes fixed on Swami's face, he didn't move. Swami then approved the boy's refusal because it was based on his "inner Swami" instructing him to stay put. So in that story the boy was in touch with his inner divinity and obeyed, and this is understood. But with your cobra bite, I can't grasp the purpose of Swami denying that it happened. Trust in God is crucial, but when we are asked to deny that something took place when it is obvious that it did, how is that trust? Thankfully this is not a common experience for us, otherwise insanity would prevail! I know about Arjuna and the episode with the bird, although it has never made sense to me, and I so much want to understand what Baba's purpose was in giving that experience to you and the others involved. I trust Him, but this has utterly confused me and makes no sense to me on any level. Nothing He did or said was without meaning ... but this is too much to swallow - you were being asked to disbelieve a verifiable event. Sorry for the long post, but it's shaken me up considerably. Perhaps you could expand on this in a video or in a blog? In 40 years of knowing Swami, this event of the cobra has thrown me utterly.
